RE: Roses & Some Garden Woes

May sound unbelievable but I have not been there for months!

It does sound unbelievable! You have this pretty garden and you hardly ever visit it?

Zucchini rotted before they got large during my first year growing them. Eventually the plants made a few fruits. Perhaps check the pH? Are they getting enough sun? Last year I added calcium to the soil right from the start, and had no problems at all. One plant produced enough to give a lot away.

Haha, yes. I hardly visit the backyard. If not for the zucchini, I might not have gone there. All we have back there are persimmons, some celery seedlings and oh, there are beans! I have forgotten to share.

Thanks for the tips about the zucchini. There's plenty of sunshine there from 9 in the morning til 4-5 in the afternoon. We had 3 seedlings transplanted on the plot but only one survived. I will check the soil pH later today. That might be one issue. I appreciate you for sharing your experience with the plant. Thank you.
