Those wild turkeys are fascinating, but part of me keeps wondering how I can catch one and stick it in the oven. Mmm... they must be tasty! Beautiful photography!

How'd you know they are my apocalypse food plan? LOL!
Honestly, I am so thankful for their pest management assistance, especially this year, and one of these days I will get off of my flintlocks and snap some respectable pictures that will hopefully do them justice with my actual camera instead of the phone. As it is right now, there's about twenty of them in my yard staring in the window at me!

That's a yummy plan! I didn't know about pest control but makes sense. Good luck photographing. Don't know how flighty they are, so hopefully they'll strike a pose.
As much as I would love to see some turkeys driving cars, I think I might be happier with my current crop of turkeys😆
The turks are great at eating pests, but they are a bit rough on the foliage with all their scratching. Guess I am going to have to get guinea fowl again for that job, they are the absolute best at bug patrol with plant damaging side effects.
And the birds that hang around here will let you walk right up to them, so I am hoping to get one of the toms to puff up for their close up lol!
