Great ideas @meztli, hopefully we could encourage new-comers to engage into the ecosystem, it is not easy because at the beginning is to slow and sometimes frustrating to see no one votes on your postings... it takes years!
I am also more as investor than blogger. One is pushing the other, ha ha.
The SPI project sounds interesting, I will take a look.
Have a great day!

SPI is great because they put out lots of reports showing what works and what doesn't. Its a great learning tool - and they make it so you can replicate what they do.

I know its frustrating to get started, which is part of why I want to avoid. I'm also targeting a specific group of people (millennial women from California who love writing but never gave themselves the opportunity) of course, all are welcome - but that's the net I'm casting.

I'm working with he old Steemitmamas crew to see if we can use that old discord server.

I was just thinking about steemitmamas! I think that's where I first came across your posts, you were writing about the pros and cons of different vote buying strategies. I know that is considered the bad old days now, but at the time it was a reality and interesting to read your process.

In addition to your experience here, you are appealing to a group that often find it hard to create an income (and even harder, wealth) that fits with being a mum. And one of your greatest assets in terms of adoption is that women will see someone (you) "just like me" and that is very powerful.

Women are a huge untapped audience for Hive. The blockchain industry in London has about 19% women, I'm guessing Hive is similar. Given that women in families make 64% of the purchasing decisions including finance and holidays, bringing more women to Hive makes great sense.

It took years, and its still a work in progress, but I can see how the investment in time I made back then is still growing now.

The income growing is one thing, but the confidence I gained has been more than invaluable - blogging here on the blockchain and being a part of a group like Steemitmamas really made me be able to go out and get some freelancing gigs. When it was time to get that J.O.B I was able to negotiate a better salary, because I knew how much I could make on my own, at home.
