Serena Williams withdraws from Miami Open

Tennis superstar Serena Williams has withdrawn out this week Miami open after going through an oral surgery.

The eight times winner of the Miami open expressed her displeasure and disappointment to withdraw from this year edition.

In her words :

Miami is a special tournament for me because it's my home and I am
sad I won't be able to see the incredible fans this year."

The men edition of the same tournament will also be missing some top athletes with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem out due to withdrawals.
