July 16, 20: Walking, Xbox, and Games
Up at quarter past six today, but fell asleep early enough last night to get a proper full eight hours with a good sleep score! š„³
Still the same olā with the morning routine. Bitcoin continues to be low volume, low volitility...itās the new stable coin.
Theyāve reinstated lockdown measures here in our state saying that businesses must refuse service to people not wearing face coverings...I really hate that we bow and obey and give an executive order the force of law. I suppose as long as there are hired tools with guns who are willing to obey orders and enforce them as law, its only going to get worse.
We had a pretty big convergence line come over the lake from the west and so it was raining for most of the morning into the afternoon.
Did some cleaning up around the house...we seems to have been invaded by bazillions of flies. š” Ran around smacking āem and then vacuuming up all the frigginā corpses. š¤¢ If itās not one thing, itās another, eh? The joys of homeownership. š
At least the thermostat seems to have been a big part of the problem with the furnace. It has been running a lot less frequently and the condensation pump has only leaked a few drops in the past several day. I suppose I can put that one in the win category. š
The rain did let up after a while and I took a long walk to the bank...well, it was a short walk, so short as not to be even counted as a walk, but as far as going down to the bank which is only a block away, it was definitely long. š
Still overcast when I went out, and humid, obviously, but the temperature was a little cooler, so it didnāt feel too bad.
No sunshine for you!
I was trying to make some progress on my math (but didnāt, surprise surprise), and so I didnāt pay much attention to my surroundings and didnāt take too many pictures.
I did get a good shot of a bunny š° though:
Otherwise, canāt really say I got anything of significance done. I played some Saintās Row 2 for a couple hours, had peanut butter and jelly sandwich and cereal for dinner, and then watched a bit more Fringe on TV before falling asleep per usual.
Another day of no crime in my dCity. š„³ Got my truncated SIM and a teeensy bit of BEER, but more than I had yesterday. š¤ Only need a couple more workers now!
Got all my Holybread tasks done today. š¤© The arena is wicked tough now though, for real! Kindaā disappointed that the voting bot skipped me yesterday, but I suppose it will take some time to adjust as well.
I popped up briefly into the top twenty again, but got knocked back.
Today was the first day of the new Splinterlands season. Nice that I only got reset to Diamond II this time! Gives me a few hundred head start!
My quest for today was Death splinter. I continued my streak from yesterday and was making good progress, but then lost nearly down to Diamond III.
I was able to complete the quest in Diamond II, just barely, with a potion. Got an epic blaster, which was nice:
