Chronicles of a NoLifer - DCity Card Haul!
Hello Buzzy Bees!
Hope you are having a good holiday season! Been away for a bit but I'm back with a few of my NoLifer adventures, this time on @dcitygame!
I'm still very green to the game and been bugging @jongolson with his own dcity and follow his footsteps. So this is what I had so far a few hours ago:
Been addictively using almost all the HIVE I got plus reinvest the SIM I get to buy new cards from the market and come to think of it I wasn't that bad. But we always want more, right?
And something unexpected happens...
Thanks to a Christmas drawing on Twitter by @scottcbusiness, I won 150 HIVE as a Christmas gift!

Which means I went shopping!
Heck yeah!
I stopped by INDEX and bought a few, of course!
But the rest, I follow @kevinli idea and went for the fun and traded about 100 HIVE for SIM Tokens and went to directly buy cards!
10 Cards of First Edition and 16 on Second Edition!
Not bad huh? I think so, I didn't have some of them so for me was awesome!
After a few more houses because I was lacking population for the rest of the cool cards, here's how my dcity looks like at the moment:

I'm near to +1000 SIM than I was a few hours ago!
Just keep building and soon I'll get there :)

Great. I also bought 10 random 2nd edition cards and luckily got MIC in it.
But for starters it is good to directly buy from market and generate enough income.
I have been close to 2500 Sim income daily so that's pretty good for me. Nkw waiting for 3rd edition but can't stop myself to spend sim lol...
That's an awesome income! Hope to get there soon!

Mine is small but I picked up a MIC to boost my SIM earnings.

Sort of feel a little relived that I am not the only one addicted. I too can not stop investing in it. Although it may sound like a dumb move at first I have seen how the daily SIM basically helps me stay liquid and allow me to continue to be invest in other secondary tokens. I could not do this before when I put all my investments into Splinterlands. The cards do not sell as quick and I earn so little DEC now its not even motivating me to play. Thank goodness I learned about dCity recently or I would have probably given up Hive games all together.
I do like Splinterlands but with the new update I can't seem to get out of Bronze lol I need to play more and try to invest there as well...
But it takes more time as you said.
So I will try to grow Dcity enough to help me grow Splinterlands later on.
The addiction is real lol
