I admit as much as I like to keep my finger on the pulse of this place, things do go way over my head.

But not today....

Not sure if people understand the amount of amazing people we have on this blockchain, and when they show up and start posting, I feel like it's our duty to highlight them as we get ready for #NewSteem

Joel's a pretty awesome guy.

I met him like 15 years ago when I started getting into the affiliate marketing stuff and have been following him since.

He is a best selling author, entrepreneur and one of the bigger thought leaders when it comes to social media..

He co-hosts this little podcast you may have heard of...

He joined Steem a long time ago...And threw up a post today on Appics which means...

One of the biggest thought leaders in social media AND crypto is poking around on Steem again.

I'm not the smartest man....Kinda dumb at quite a few things...

But when it comes to marketing I know this...

Dudes like Joel...Are people we WANT on Steem!

Yeah man, I knew he was here for a while but hasn't been posting...I know he keeps an eye on Steem though and thinks it's got potential from engaging with him on FB a few months ago.

We really need these highlights from time to time!

I remember Robert Kiyosaki (@robertkiyosaki) almost went unnoticed on Steem when he first joined, although he joined using his own name and picture and his most well known brand as a cover. Unfortunately he only posted once.

But I think all of these major influencers are testing Steem from time to time to see if it matured enough for them to be around.

We need to see more of this. When interesting people join STEEM, famous or not it's great to have them dragged up before the active community. The people that will follow and comment on their work and get them interested in what is happening here.

Too many people fall away at the beginning from not being seen where as with a small bit of work we can include them onto the platform and get them addicted like the rest of us.

Agreed. Being a thought leader in the two niches that Steem are famous for, I think he could do a lot of good...Especially if we start engaging with him and welcoming him back to Steem lol

He has a great podcast that I hear often while working out. Unfortunately, they are favoring the EOS Voice platform over Steem despite that side being silent lately but think we still have an opportunity to demonstrate otherwise!

The more people in Steem, the better for everyone... I've been here for 2 years and we had some insanely popular people joining already... most of them didn't stick, like PewDiePie, but here's hoping people the quitting rate will go down as the platform gets perfected.
