A List of Nots and No's

We all know that we should write out what we want from life, set out the steps to get there and then apply relentless focus.

Easy, right?

Often the problem is defining what we really want.

I think it can be useful to frame it in the opposite:

Define all of the things that you DON'T want

A list of 'nots' and 'no's'.

In my ideal life....

  • I will not work at the weekend
  • I will not commute for hours each day
  • I will not work after 6pm
  • etc

Sometimes it seems a bit counterintuitive to focus on the opposite of what you actually want.

But it can be a quick way to help you define what you really want.
