Hive Price - Does it matter?
Sunday evening thought.
I have had a busy weekend. Doing house renovations again. This time moving laundry facilities to the main floor. That means reworking bedrooms. But enough about that.
This is the last seven days of Hive. You can easily see the price bump due to the volume increase.
I read @jongolson last post and it got me thinking. Does the price of Hive matter?
In the short term I would think no. In the long term maybe. Someone else had posted, and sorry I forgot who, that compaired to Bitcoin, Hive should be around 6.00 now.
I would love to see the price go up, for my portfolio and onboarding people.
But as Jon referenced, we, I, am here to build something big and great in the long haul.
So for me personally, price be damned at the moment.
I am here because of the people, the community.
The price will get to where it should be and all of early adopters of Hive will win this race.

I think when you set your mindset into accumulation and have a timeline in mind, you can ride this out much more comfortably...
I picked 5 years when I joined in 2017...
And all I wanted to do was accumulate as much Hive as possible.
Price, didn't factor in. Sure I'd love to see some gains, but right now, Im enjoying the prices so I can buy more lol

I agree with you and Jon, I am in for the long haul not the quick buck. In time I will have accumulated a mass of Hive and by that time the price will do what it will do, we just have to wait and see.

I'm OK with the price... would like to keep it stable on this value, but I wouldn't mind if goes in either direction... I'm still in accumulation mode... at least to Orca rank... :) Lower price, better buying opportunity...
I am definitely here for the community & building my brand as we all grow on the blockchain. It is one of the many reasons that keep me here.
I do feel HIVE price will matter as we go but it is starting to show healthy signs of growth & sustainability. As I create content, it motivates me to keep going & accumulate as much as I can as I slowly move up the ranks.
Ultimately, this is a full time gig for me so the healthier the Hive crypto & community are, the better for all of us! :)

When people speak about crypto, most of the time they speak about the prices of crypto and consider it as an investment vehicle. For me this is crypto 1.0. Hive is crypto 2.0 because the price doesn't matter. With crypto 1.0 you could earn money with speculation with crypto 2.0 you can earn money with work. This is such a huge difference and people haven't really realized that.
Many people all over the globe consider hive already their primary income source... It pays their food and their bills. What is more useful crypto 1.0 or crypto 2.0???

Long term the price will always be determined by how big of a userbase we can attract, and that is looking very good in my eyes, a 7 day price chart is very short term, and any reduced price just means we can buy more.
I am not here to get anything out right now or for the foreseeable future. I am here to be a part of the community and do my best to get others on board. I know that if they see the price going up it might be more enticing but they need to be okay with it going up and down and have there mindset for accumulation.
Price doesnt matter much at the moment. But ofcourse dont mind a lower price whenever im going to buy. Anyway just in the beginning stage of accumulating tokens. Glad to be onboard the community and getting to learn more.
I dont think the price of hive matters.
I believe in earning and spreading it.

Of course we're here to make some money, however, I like the way @jongolson says it, accumulation is where we should our mindset should be. I remember when I sat back and looked at bitcoin go from less then a dollar to thousands of dollars. Lesson learned for me then, I could have quite fat pockets right now. I will let my crypto accumulate and hopefully on day it will sky rocket and all of us who are here now will be way better off. The great thing about hive is you earn the tokens instead of trying to figue out how to but them.
I love to the price go high... ultimately we are here to earn also....
Crypto price always goes up and down. Hive has a bright future. If you think long term, it will definitely do much better. In the meanwhile, the price does not matter as long as you have a vision. Thank you @bradleyarrow for sharing this.
