Hive Hard Fork 25 is Coming!

The upcoming Hive Hard fork, version 25 is entering the final rounds of testing. This new version adds a number of features. Recurring transfers add possibilities for use cases like subscriptions to support your favorite content creators. A new Hive to HBD conversion operation is expected to help stabilize the HBD peg. Governance votes for witnesses and proposals will expire after some time, to encourage active voting and remove the influence of inactive wallets. Hive's content curation curve is changing to encourage manual voting. Votes cast during the first 24 hours will have more of equal weight, and the 5-minute voting window is no more. The list of changes and fixes goes on and on...

Hard Fork 25 is expected to deploy in the last week of June (only a few weeks away). But it could shift to a later date if it's not ready.

DBuzz Adds Wallet and Mobile Blog Site

This week @DBuzz team rolled out some dapp updates. The non-mobile app now has a built-in wallet for viewing balances and claiming rewards. A mobile version of blog.d.buzz (long-form content frontend) has also been released.

LeoFinance Launches Kingdoms

@LeoFinance team has added a new feature to the CubDefi platform called Kingdoms, which complements Farms and Dens. The unique feature of Kingdoms is auto-compounding. Meaning you don't have to claim and deposit periodically like you do for Farms and Dens, which incurs BSC transaction fees. Kingdoms are currently available for CAKE and BNB-BUSD token deposits.

dCrops Enters Alpha Release

Announced in discord, @dCrops has completed another round of testing, and has entered into Alpha phase of the game's release. Alongside entering Alpha phase, card packs are once again available for sale, a new CROP token rewards pool is available for players.

OceanPlanet Outlines Cards

Ocean-dystopia-themed card game @OceanPlanet published a comprehensive post this week outlining all the cards.

MuTerra RPG/TCG Approaches Pre-Sale Stage

A new game called @MuTerra is coming to Hive and WAX. This game combines Role-Playing and Trading-Card game mechanics. This week the MuTerra team published some new game info leading up to the first card sale. Cards will be available for sale sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2021.

Splinterlands announces SPS Governance Token

The big news in Hive blockchain games this week is the new Splinterlands governance token called Splintershards (SPS). SPS is a game-changer. The new tokens will be air-dropped in July to players based on what game assets they are holding. The SPS tokens can then be staked on Binance-Smart-Chain (BSC) to participate in DAO voting and to influence changes to the game.
