I Win! Great Book Deal!

It's not every day I get a book worth well over a hundred dollars for just $10! Not only that, but the book is in almost perfect condition--I win! For over a year I have been waiting for a reasonable price on the Teacher's Edition of my favorite Geometry textbook.

When I saw this on ThriftBooks for such a low price I was expecting a book with some hidden flaw--smoky smell or wrong ISBN or something--but I am thrilled to say this book is exactly what I wanted.

Need a cheap thrill? Check out ThriftBooks for yourself.

It is a win when one can find a great deal on a book. Amazing that you found a teacher edition text book for that price. Some text books can be so expensive. Congratulations.

I think it must have somehow been a clerical error, but I am not about to complain. Textbooks are ridiculously priced because the industry is essentially a cartel. A few big companies get adopted by a few big states, then school districts use taxes confiscated from citizens to pay way too much for the books and the associated "support materials." I fight back through the used book market and my stubborn avoidance of anything from the Pearson company which has a near monopoly on testing and texts around the world--for crappy books full of extra nonsense when a reprint of an old classic text would often serve well.
