It is hard to maintain both of these things... I was just talking about this topic with my wife... About investing effort in your posts, and for example, receiving low amount of upvotes (or appreciation)... Also, it doesn't help if you see some other content with zero value getting whale upvotes... It demotivates a lot people who investing a lot of effort and passion into their content...
At that moment comes patience... To be patient and build regardless of rewards, pushing quality over quantity, and results will come... Yes, it is hard to do that for a long time, but that is the best way to build you, and build winning attitude...

Definitely. Whatever you said is right and it's not easy to keep both.
