More USA States becoming 'Green' - Which States allow Pot use?

Marijuana legalisation across the USA continues to grow with more states deciding to allow adult use of cannabis at the 2020 election.

Currently, you can purchase recreational cannabis products in the following states:

• Alaska
• California
• Colorado
• Illinois
• Maine
• Massachusetts
• Michigan
• Nevada
• Oregon
• Washington

All of these states are providing recreational use cannabis to their residents in some form or another. California is estimated to be the largest market with approximately $11 billion per year made from the sticky icky in this state.

The following states have legalised recreational cannabis use but are yet to get recreational sales up and running:

• Arizona
• Montana
• New Jersey
• South Dakota
• Vermont

These states legalised at the 2020 election which is why recreational sales haven't yet began in these states.

• Delaware
• Florida
• Hawaii
• Louisiana
• Maryland
• Minnesota
• Mississippi
• Missouri

• Ohio
• Oklahoma
• Pennsylvania

• West Virginia

Medical marijuana is big business and usually this declines when recreational use is legalised. Some states are resisting full legalisation as a result of pressure from some of these medicinal companies

'Pot Stocks' are big business as legalisation grows. Slowly the USA is becoming green. Those conservative states will surely legalise medicinal use at least. There are a number of other states planning to put the legalisation of cannabis to the vote at the 2022 election which will have more states going 'green'. It is yet to be seen whether this will become a more world-wide phenomena as the years pass.
