This morning I was very happy. The sun shone brightly. I picked up my motorcycle and rode to a lake. It was not a natural lake. The lake was built to save rain water and prevent floods. The lake was quite large.
I rode my motorcycle, then I stopped on the side of the lake where there was high grass growing. There was a footpath on the side of the lake.

Here are the lake views that I took this morning.

On the side of the lake grew bamboo trees. Besides the bamboo trees, there was a cassava garden. A small hut was built by the farmer to get rest on a hot day.

The water looked clear. It was a hot day.

On the side of the lake, there was grass that grew more than 2 meters high. The flowers looked grey.

On the bank of the lake, there were many pudica trees. Pudica trees grew wildly.

This was the footpath where fishermen pass by.

On the side of the footpath, there was a small tree with beautiful flowers. It is a kind of wild tree bush.
In my area, there is no big river that connects to the sea. That is why the government built the lake a few years ago, because the area often flooded in the rainy season. Today, the rain water will flow into the lake and there has been no flooding.
