¡Hola Hivers! Feliz Domingo tengan todos. Espero que esten descansando y a la vez esten siendo productivos de alguna manera jaja. ¿Parece complicado realizar ambas cosas no? jajaj. Bueno hoy luego de un día de descanso, quiero compartir con ustedes mis anecdotas acompañadas de fotos, de mi paseo a la Cascada al Ron, aquí en mi lindo Estado Táchira - Venezuela.

Hello Hivers! Happy Sunday to all of you. I hope you are resting and at the same time being productive in some way haha. It seems complicated to do both things, doesn't it? hahaha. Well today after a day of rest, I want to share with you my anecdotes and photos of my trip to the Cascada al Ron, here in my beautiful State of Táchira - Venezuela.

Prólogo del Blog | Blog Prologue

En primer lugar, quiero contarles que mis amigos y yo ya hemos adquirido una rutina, la cual se trata de salir a caminar cada domingo a algún sitio aquí en la ciudad. Pero hacemos todo el recorrido caminando, desde salir de casa, hasta llegar al punto de encuentro con mis amigos y luego regresar cada uno sano y salvo a nuestro hogar. Y esto, ya es me parece maravilloso, ya que mantenemos nuestra actividad fisica y dejamos nuestras preocupaciones y estres en casa.

First of all, I want to tell you that my friends and I have already acquired a routine, which is to go for a walk every Sunday to some place here in the city. But we do the whole journey walking, from leaving home, to get to the meeting point with my friends and then return each one safe and sound to our home. And this, I think, is wonderful, because we keep our physical activity and leave our worries and stress at home.

Pero hoy no fui a caminar con mis amigos, decidi quedarme en casa para descansar y contarles a ustedes mi historia. Retomo la rutina el siguiente domingo.

But today I didn't go for a walk with my friends, I decided to stay at home to rest and tell you my story. I will resume the routine next Sunday.

Empezamos la caminata desde casa, como ya les había contado, mi hermano y mi amigo Wilkins. El punto de encuentro era la casa de mi amiga Carroll ya que de allí nos quedaba más cerca para iniciar nuestro ascenso a la montaña El Ron. Llegamos alli y esperamos a nuestros amigos Daniel y Ricardo, que también nos iban a acompañar en nuestro recorrido. Puesto que Ricardo, sería el guía de nuestra excursión ya que esta era primera vez que visitamos este lugar.

We started the hike from home, as I had already told you, my brother and my friend Wilkins. The meeting point was my friend Carroll's house, since that was the closest place to start our ascent to El Ron mountain. We arrived there and waited for our friends Daniel and Ricardo, who were also going to accompany us on our tour. Ricardo would be the guide of our excursion since this was the first time we visited this place.

Iniciamos nuestro recorrido con animo y con energía y hablado de todo un poco para hacer más amena la caminata. Al llegar al pie de montaña comenzamos a subir, pero estaba tan concentrada observando el panorama y respirando conscientemente que no tome fotos en este momento. Solo cuando curiosamente una oruga se atraveso en mi camino o yo en el de ella 🤣. Así que tuve que sacar mi telefono para inmortalizar este momento.

We started our tour with energy and energy and talked about everything a little bit to make the hike more enjoyable. When we reached the foot of the mountain we started to climb, but I was so concentrated observing the panorama and breathing consciously that I didn't take pictures at this moment. Only when curiously a caterpillar crossed my path or I crossed hers 🤣. So I had to take out my phone to immortalize this moment.

A decir verdad, caminar hasta la cascada requiere de un nivel de condición fisica intermedio. Ya que la montaña es bastante empinada y siempre es lejos. Aquí solo se puede subir a pie, así que los que quieran venir, ponganse a entrenar 🤣. Me dicen y yo los llevo.

To be honest, walking up to the waterfall requires an intermediate level of fitness. Since the mountain is quite steep and it is always far. Here you can only climb on foot, so those who want to come, get training 🤣. You tell me and I'll take you.

Además de tener condición fisica hay que tener unos buenos zapatos, si son de senderimo mucho mejor, ya que te ayudan a tener mejor agarre al suelo y a que no te caigas. Yo por no tener unos, me he caido muchas veces, Más bien me soprendo cuando salgo y no me caigo 🤣. Pero espero pronto comprarme unos, que me permitan realizar mis actividades con mayor seguridad.

Besides being in good physical condition you have to have good shoes, if they are hiking shoes much better, as they help you to have a better grip on the ground and not to fall. I have fallen many times because I don't have shoes, I am surprised when I go out and I don't fall 🤣. But I hope soon to buy some, which will allow me to perform my activities more safely.

Luego de caminar, aproximadamente 1 hora y media, llegamos a la meta. Les presento a la Cascada El Ron. Y le llaman así porque el suelo de la cascada se ve del mismo color del RON. El agua era fría pero sabrosa, el pozo no tenía mucha profundidad, incluso yo puedo aproximar que apenas tendría como 30 centimetros y por esa razón y porque debíamos regresar temprano a casa, no nos bañamos allí. Pero podría ser en una proxima oportunidad.

After walking for about an hour and a half, we arrived at the finish line. Let me introduce you to the Cascada El Ron. And they call it that way because the floor of the waterfall looks the same color as the RUM. The water was cold but tasty, the well was not very deep, even I can approximate that it was only about 30 centimeters deep and for that reason and because we had to return home early, we did not bathe there. But it could be in a next opportunity.

Alla en la cascada, mi amiga Carroll y yo aprovechamos de tomarnos fotos. Así que aquí pueden ver una muestra de eso. La cascada nos salpicaba de pequeñas gotas y esto era bastante refrescante y más después de caminar y estar cansados. En un momento pensamos que no llegariamos, porque nuestro guia olvido la ruta casí antes de llegar, pero luego se fue a buscarla el solo mientras nosotros esperabamos en un punto y luego Ricardo regreso para llevarnos ahora si, a la entrada de este hermoso lugar.

At the waterfall, my friend Carroll and I took the opportunity to take pictures. So here you can see a sample of that. The waterfall was splashing us with small drops and this was quite refreshing and even more so after walking and being tired. At one point we thought we would not make it, because our guide forgot the route almost before we arrived, but then he went to look for it by himself while we waited at a point and then Ricardo came back to take us to the entrance of this beautiful place.

Finalmente, según los datos de Mi Band 5, caminamos 13.9 kilometros ida y vuelta hasta mi dulce hogar. Lo importante fue que disfrutamos, encontramos el sitio, y realizamos ejercicio. Nos encanta hacer este tipo de actividades juntos, porque conocemos un poco más nuestra ciudad y además hablamos de otros temas interesantes.

In the end, according to the Mi Band 5 data, we walked 13.9 kilometers round trip to my sweet home. The important thing was that we enjoyed ourselves, found the place, and got some exercise. We love doing these kinds of activities together, because we get to know our city a little better and also talk about other interesting topics.
