Photography of Gumti river and banks of Gumti river
This morning suddenly became a short trip. Without any prior plan we suddenly took a rickshaw to spend some time on the banks of Gumti river. This morning my three colleagues and I took a rickshaw ride along the banks of the Gumti river and enjoyed the beauty of the river as well. This moment was really quite enjoyable. I really enjoyed this time.
I woke up this morning and went to our upazila for some personal work. I went there and saw two more of my colleagues. The sudden plan with them was to go to the banks of the river Gumti. The Gumti river has been re-excavated a few days ago and various stone blocks have been laid on the banks of the river so that it does not break the banks of the river.
Bangladesh is a riverine country. There are many small and big rivers in this country. Gumti river is one of them. Comilla district is formed around this river. This river was dying a few days ago. A few days ago, the river was re-excavated and the river has found its eternal form. That is, the river and the riverbank have found beauty.
Now that it is raining, there is plenty of water in the river, and the lands along the river have been submerged. As the river is famous for its variety of native fish, it is also a boon for farmers. Moreover, this river is also commercially important. Many freight trawlers or occasional steamers are seen plying this river. Like we saw that scene while moving a trawler today. Anyway this trip to the river and the river bank without a sudden pre-planning gave us a lot of pleasure.
