Flower Parade
It's that time of the year when everything is in flower, so what more could a nature photographer want, right? I'm on constant alert, looking at trees, flowers wherever I go to see what I can photograph. It's a shame not to capture these beauties as they don't last for months, unfortunately and after that all we are left with are the photographs.
So today I'm going to show you some of the flower photos I tool last week.
This is the Japanese quince, which I love so much this time of the year.
I tried to capture some buds as it was still cold and flowers came later.
I wish I knew the name of these blue beauties, but I don't. Wait, Google is my friend, so after a quick search I was able to identify it and it's called Grape hyacinth. I've never had it although it looks like a lovely flower.
I took these photos at a friend's house, who's lucky to have a small garden and enjoy these beauties every year.
Tulips are my favorites, I'm always admiring them, to bad they never last long and if it's hot, they last even less.
Narcissus is also a symbol of spring and maybe Easter as it's a flower of the season and there is always a bouquet of narcissus on the table, next to the Easter eggs.
This is the cherry tree in the neighbor's garden. It's not an old tree but a tall one which always has a lot of good cherries. Last year was different as for some reason there was no fruit in the garden.
Some cherry blossom close ups I took around the house.
The main focus of the photo is this little bee, working hard to bring something home.
This is my flower parade for today, I will come back with more flower photos if I'm lucky to catch my wild cherry tree blossoming.
