[ESP | ENG] ¡3 canciones para empezar la semana con energía! | Instrumentistas Virtuosos #1 |
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo una vez más mi reseña musical de todos los días Lunes; en esta ocasión el tópico es Instrumentistas Virtuosos, como notarán coloqué un #1 al final del título porque quiero hacer varias reseñas con este mismo tópico para abarcar una gran cantidad de virtuosos que conozco en el mundo de la música instrumental.
Entonces, sin más que agregar, comencemos.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you once again my every Monday music review; this time the topic is Virtuoso Instrumentalists, as you will notice I put a #1 at the end of the title because I want to do several reviews with this same topic to cover a lot of virtuosos I know in the world of instrumental music.
So, without further ado, let's begin.
1.- Fkj & Masego - Tadow
Es imposible para mí hablar de artistas instrumentistas de élite y no mencionar a este par; Fkj es un músico, productor y multinstrumentista nacido en la ciudad de Tours, Francia, por otra parte, Masego es un cantante y músico multinstrumentista nacido en Kingston, Jamaica pero criado en Estados Unidos.
Ambos decidieron unir sus talentos en esta colaboración que sin lugar a dudas me parece un joya de la música fusión, ya que en la misma se encuentran inmersos elementos del jazz, blues, r&b y la calidad que muestran entre cada instrumento que van tocando para construir esta canción (incluyendo la voz de Masego en el repetidor) es simplemente brillante, una joya.
It is impossible for me to talk about elite instrumentalist artists and not mention this pair; Fkj is a musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist born in the city of Tours, France, on the other hand, Masego is a singer and multi-instrumentalist musician born in Kingston, Jamaica but raised in the United States.
Both decided to join their talents in this collaboration that without a doubt seems to me a jewel of fusion music, since in it are immersed elements of jazz, blues, r&b and the quality they show between each instrument they are playing to build this song (including Masego's voice on the repeater) is simply brilliant, a jewel.
2.- Mike Love - Moving On
Ya he traído a este artista a mis reseñas anteriormente, pero no podría no hacerlo de nuevo si hablamos de virtuosos de los instrumentos ya que Mike Love, nacido en Hawai'i es uno de los mejores músicos que he visto en mi vida, su dominio impresionante de sus instrumentos y su repetidor lo vuelven un artista de prestigio increíble.
En esta canción podemos ver que más allá de su gran calidad de su performance con la guitarra, también aplica técnicas de Beatbox para la parte rítmica de su obra y más allá de ello, el control de su voz es una locura, al mezclar todos estos elementos en una sola canción y anexándole a eso su percusionista, hace de esta canción una joya de principio a fin.
I've already brought this artist to my reviews before, but I couldn't not do it again if we talk about virtuosos of the instruments since Mike Love, born in Hawai'i is one of the best musicians I have ever seen in my life, his impressive mastery of his instruments and his repetition make him an artist of incredible prestige.
In this song we can see that beyond his great quality of his performance with the guitar, he also applies Beatbox techniques for the rhythmic part of his work and beyond that, the control of his voice is crazy, mixing all these elements in one song and adding to that his percussionist, makes this song a jewel from beginning to end.
3.- Snarky Puppy - Lingus
Snarky Puppy es una banda estadounidense de músicos con una calidad increíblemente élite, en definitiva existe un virtuosismo dentro de sus filas que yo no había visto jamás en convergencia; su música me fascina porque combina elementos del Jazz, Blues, R&B, Música Latina, etc.
De esta canción debo destacar tres cosas particulares, la primera es el hecho de los elementos que utilizaron para realizar este performance, es decir, hay muchos detalles que si los analizamos a nivel musical van más allá de la calidad normal de cualquier músico, como por ejemplo el colocarle Filtros Wah Wah a las trompetas, eso no es algo común.
Lo segundo es el hecho de que el baterista y el tecladista que realiza el solo en esta canción son inhumanos; el baterista es una máquina de ritmos que no tiene sentido, la velocidad en la que toca el hi-hat es una locura y el cómo puede mantener el ritmo base a pesar de que el tecladista comienza a solear abusando de ese tiempo es una locura.
Lo tercero es el hecho de que tanto los músicos como el público tienen audífonos de alta calidad de audio para poder llevar a cabo el performance de la mejor y más profesional manera, es una locura el cómo pueden hacer que las personas disfruten de la música llevándolo a otro nivel, me imagino yo estar ahí con todas las personas del público escuchando cada pequeño sonito que emita cada instrumento en esos audífonos, una locura.
Snarky Puppy is an American band of musicians with an incredibly elite quality, in short there is a virtuosity within their ranks that I had never seen in convergence; their music fascinates me because it combines elements of Jazz, Blues, R&B, Latin Music, etc..
Of this song I must highlight three particular things, the first is the fact of the elements they used to make this performance, that is to say, there are many details that if we analyze them at a musical level go beyond the normal quality of any musician, such as placing Wah Wah Filters on the trumpets, that is not something common.
The second thing is the fact that the drummer and the keyboardist who performs the solo in this song are inhuman; the drummer is a rhythm machine that makes no sense, the speed in which he plays the hi-hat is insane and how he can keep the base rhythm even though the keyboardist starts to solear abusing that time is insane.
The third thing is the fact that both the musicians and the audience have high quality audio headphones to be able to carry out the performance in the best and most professional way, it is crazy how they can make people enjoy the music taking it to another level, I can imagine being there with all the people in the audience listening to every little sound that each instrument emits in those headphones, crazy.
Bonus Track - Jorge Luis Chacín & Luis Enrique ft C4 Trío - Candela
En mi país (Venezuela) el instrumento musical más representativo es el Cuatro venezolano, este es un instrumento de cuerda que tiene 4 cuerdas y se utiliza para tocar música tradicional dentro de nuestro folklore, sin embargo, hay muchos artistas venezolanos que han demostrado que con el Cuatro venezolano se puede hacer música de todo tipo.
En este caso podemos conocer a C4 Trío, este es un grupo de 4 músicos donde 3 son cuatrista y 1 es un bajista con una calidad excepcional que son capaces de crear música con esos 3 cuatros de una forma espectacular y adaptarse a cualquier ritmo que tengan de frente.
En este vídeo podemos verlos con dos artistas increíbles, uno venezolano conocido como Jorge Luís Chacín y otro nicaragüense conocido como Luis Enrique, ambos tienen una gran calidad como cantantes y aquí unen sus voces para hacer cantar un Salsa junto a estos músicos de élite.
A pesar de que a cualquier persona le parecería extraño escuchar una canción de Salsa hecha con Cuatros venezolanos, pues, denle click al botón de play y deléitense con esto.
In my country (Venezuela) the most representative musical instrument is the Venezuelan Cuatro, this is a stringed instrument that has 4 strings and is used to play traditional music within our folklore, however, there are many Venezuelan artists who have shown that with the Venezuelan Cuatro you can make music of all kinds.
In this case we can meet C4 Trio, this is a group of 4 musicians where 3 are cuatro players and 1 is a bass player with an exceptional quality that are able to create music with those 3 cuatros in a spectacular way and adapt to any rhythm they have in front of them.
In this video we can see them with two incredible artists, one Venezuelan known as Jorge Luis Chacin and another Nicaraguan known as Luis Enrique, both have a great quality as singers and here they join their voices to sing a Salsa together with these elite musicians.
Although anyone would find it strange to hear a Salsa song made with Venezuelan Cuatros, well, click the play button and enjoy this.

Ufff buenísimas estás canciones, es demasiado mi tipo de música 🙈😅 Lingus es de mis canciones favoritas ever, el solo de Cory Henry allí es BESTIAL. Por otro lado Tadow es muy buena, pero la requemé mucho por culpa de Youtube que la arrojaba de publicidad, me hartó un poco, pero gracias a esa canción descubrí a Fkj hace años y se convirtió en unos de mis músicos favoritos.
Las demás canciones no las conocía, me encantó el feeling de Moving on y Candela tiene un saborcito pa bailar pegaito jajajaja. Buenas canciones hermano, espero tu semana esté llena de buena vibra ¡Éxitos!
