This is really an interesting looking building. I wonder how strong it must be so the residents on the second floor don't worry about it breaking under them without a pillar below.
Like a lot of public spaces in Finland 🇫🇮 they are free to use and so all through the year people will go to the island to walk their dogs and enjoy nature.
Houses made entirely of wood make me think of the clicking noises.
A relative of mine lives in such a house, and when I went to his house, those clicking sounds sounded very strange to me.
This makes me think strange.
It looks like it could be destroyed at any moment. 🥹
Wooden houses are very common in Finland 🇫🇮, Sweden 🇸🇪, and Norway 🇳🇴. All these countries have vast amount of wood 🪵 making it very affordable to build wooden houses that will last for a very long time like this building.
