Trip, in search for some "Me Time"

It has been quite a long time I took a time off and went out on tours without any reason. You know, just for the sake of going out and enjoy some "me time"! While today, I was able to get out and went on a stroll. I basically had no idea where I was going, as I had no plan at hand. But seems like I ended up in a rather comfortable place, to spend some quite time and enjoy it for the time being. Let me take you on a virtual tour with me :) It is a small garden, rather if I call a small park with a nice environment, where you can come and have some fun with your friends and get away from the busy and robotic life of ours. Nothing too much exciting is in here but honestly it is somewhere I would be, to take some pressure off, from my everyday activities.

Minar Complex

It is situated just beside the Shahi Eidgah of Sylhet city. A small park, which was built, with the intent to get some relaxation for people. You do not need an entry fee to enter here. Anybody is welcomed to be here and sit on the chairs provided on different places and witness the beauty of the nature. For some people this could be an ideal place to be and hang out and at the same time, what I have noticed this place gets a lot less people in general. So that is also a very good details as it means less people will be here to distuirb you ;)

The above is the actual monument after which this place is named. The Minar of the Shahi Eidgah. I am not sure how long it is but it sure is similar to three storied building, so you can probably make a guess of the height of this structure. I am quite sure, the place is taken care of very nicely. As because, in most of the places people do not really care much about hygiene but this place seemed a little different for me, which is also a reason why it got my attention.

At the entrance you will be greeted with two small pools with water. And after standing there for some time I saw few fishes were out in here. Which were having foods which were floating on the water. As I was there I saw a yellow fish just popped up there and had the food from the top of the water.

Few other things I liked about this place, is there were different types of plants to increase the beauty of the place even more. I do not even know the names of some of these plants, my bad! But I must say, this was indeed a nice idea to make the place even more beautiful than it was. Some more images of these plants shared below.

While let me show you the other sides of this place. Few walkways were there to walk around. Like I said , nothing fancy is out in here but honestly a small place like this could really make up for the day. While I was there, I saw some people were already hanging out and they seemed to be enjoying the place.

A request board, for the sake of the people who would come here and spend some time. Nothing much really, just usual way of saying people to stay human and not make this place a wasteland. And No Smoking please ;)

This is probably, not THE BEST place to be but under the given circumstances I must say this a nice place to be and hang around and enjoy little "me time". Besides, we are too busy anyways. And like I stated in some of my previous blogs, my city is turning into a robotic city compared to the past. And this effort could be a nice way to make us remember how beautiful and amazing nature actually is.
