Entrepreneurial Steps - No Back and Forward
Hi!
It’s been said that if you want to spend your life with purpose, it’s way better to take 1,000 steps in one direction than it is to take one step in a thousand different directions.
Makes sense, right?
Even if we’re literally just talking about getting anywhere by walking there, if all you do is take one step in a thousand directions, you won’t even get out of your house. You’ll end up exhausted and roughly in the same place you started.
It’s no different when it comes to building a business online. I have started in 2007 and launched several online businesses by now.
So, allow me to tell you this:
Do a bunch of different things that do not build on one another… and in a year, in two years, in ten years... you’ll still be in the same place. Older, more tired, but basically in the same place.
Is it just as simple as “just pick any direction and go”?
Yes… and no.
On one hand, even if you pick the worst possible option for you as a person, one that’s ill-fitted to your talents and your skill set, one that doesn’t fit the time you have available…
...and you pursue it with dogged determination... you’ll still probably be better off than people who insist on doing everything.
You might even get some results… just because you stuck with it long enough.
However, that doesn’t sound like much fun, right?
Then again, you could also pick a direction that starts yielding results as soon as you take the first steps.
Do not underestimate being able to see actual results from your actions, such as people signing up for your email list, buying stuff through you, and sending you thank you emails. (By the way, all of which are real things that have happened to people who adopted this approach during the first weeks, building a mailing list, sending emails, newsletters, free digital resources, etc..)
It will do wonders for your motivation.
And once you experience that momentum… you’ll never want to go back to being stuck or chasing every shiny object.
I’ve left out the most important part.
If we go back to what I said at the beginning of this short article - about how it’s better to take 1,000 steps in one direction than one step in a thousand directions…Well, this is a lot less like taking steps… it’s more like someone carrying you in the right direction.
It's you...befriending your wishes, your professional goals, your mission, and your aspirations!

I agree with you
Putting our energy in a concentrated point in business is better than scamping around, looking for what works, and what doesn't;
If we take the latter option, we will end up being tired, worn-out, and all
But if we concentrate on one, we will be able to judge our progress and see if we are moving ahead, or falling behind our goals
Exactly, Edy!
See how it all comes to our will and determination?
We must have to find the right motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic and then we're on the right track.
Thank you so much for coming by and for your comment.

Yes, I have. It is clear on every side, and everyone out there who succeeded followed this path
The right track is finding the right motivation, whether internally or externally as you said
You are welcome, sweetie

Hugs for you too sweetie
Yeah I agree, it is more fruitful to focus on one thing diligently than chase a thousand things without specific direction.
Yes...but sometimes our mind is in its own flow and ideas fly free without a direction or limitations. And that is good for creativity. But when it comes to building our dreams, being practical, we need focus coherence and certainty.
