💨 #DashoutSunday 🍷 Sorrel Tea From My Friend's Mom In Suriname 🌺
Hi all, this post is for ReggaeJAHM. Today was a fun day, our friend take our family go to visit his mom in the countryside. We’re so happy over there. His mom made juice from sorrel flowers for us to drink.
Oh it taste good and her give me so much flowers and her tell me how to make juice from it. It is easy, I can do it by myself and keep it for a long time to drink.
She has three sorrel plants, and they have so many flowers. In my country we have these flowers, but I never eat before.
Here she is cutting pandan leaves for me. I love to use pandan in my desserts because it smells very nice.

We buy fried bananas in the countryside market and when we come back home we buy vegan fried rice from the Chinese restaurant because we’re too late for lunch already.
This week our friend in Suriname him made vegan vegetable soup for us, and a big box with white rice also. I think this week is good luck with my family. Have a beautiful day.

It is, indeed, called Sorrel Juice in the Caribbean and other parts of the world. In the US, it is called Roselle or Hibiscus since it comes from the Hibiscus sabdariffa flower (which is different than the flower we usually call "Hibiscus"). I sometimes buy Hibiscus Tea, which is tea made with tea leaves and these flowers! So good! 💗

Hi, @luca1777 normally we do not use plastic when we buying everything from the store, we always have the bags market but yesterday we buy fried rice from the Chinese store, they put fried rice in the nature box but pickles they are put it's in small plastic. My family thinks a lot about plastic but we can’t do not use it sometimes. These are made us don't like to eat outside house but we are have kids, when they are hungry they are need to eat.
