Greetings from here in Suriname Reggae JAHMers!! It's @JustinParke once again with the JAHMIN Posts Of The Week, a curation from the ReggaeJAHM Community featuring Irie content from all over the globe.
WHAT'S JAHMIN' THIS WEEK?
We've got a little bit of music history, specifically reggaeton, some ganja-related legal developments in Jamaica, a #APART post from a long lost ReggaeJAHM brethren, and another one from a steady JAHMer. And on the other side of the globe, our fearless leader @dmilliz sold some artwork he's been sitting on for 8 years.

Enjoy the Easter weekend 😊. Hey do you also get a day off (Mondays) for Easter in the USA? I only know of Suriname, the Netherlands and other Dutch territories, so was wondering.
I was trying to get ahead. I usually end up so busy on Sundays that I can never finish this before I fall asleep. In the USA we have Monday as a national holiday, and I think any national holiday that falls on a Sunday gets rolled over to a Monday day-off. !ENGAGE 20
Oh that's good to know. The only National Holiday that falls on a Sunday and you will get a day off the next Monday for is July 1st. That's when we celebrate the Emancipation from slavery. Christmas and Easter are celebrated for two days here.
