When something is popular, people are more interested to know about that. You can get huge traffic from content that is about trending topics. After a certain time, another thing gets popular. And people start talking about that. So do you need to make content about trending topics?
If you make content about a trending topic, but you don't know much about that, you will not be able to add value to your content. And people will know that as soon as they consume your content. If you are good at something and that's popular, that's great. I think it is better to make content about something that you know, like, and have experience with.

I agree with others about this... Flying around headless isn't a passion inside you... I saw this a lot of times, and noticed in the last couple of days... UNI tokens, LEO story... everyone is doing posts without any value... I have read 1 post from the main source, and that's it... all others are or just a copy, or crap posts...
Keep posting about your passion, about what you know the best... and the audience will come... and stay...
When we see something trending, some people think you have to make content about that. They think more people will read their posts or watch their videos. The result is exactly what you said in the comment. When you see it's the same thing without adding any value, you just ignore that post/video.
Yeah... I am fully agree with you as everyone has some kind of talent and passion so one should focus on that and create good content for their viewers rather than running behind the trending topics with low quality content. Such content cant help anyone to grow much in their journey.
