Always Ask Questions... Always...

Oh, oh... I'm wearing my cap in reverse, which means that some rant is coming.... :) Actually, it wasn't a rant, it was more like a response to a provocative post that I have read on Facebook...

Yes, I have read Facebook... I'm guilty... lol... Anyways, don't want to go deep into what was written there, as you can hear in the video more details, but I really have a problem when someone is trying to silence me... And when I say "me", I think at all the other people that have their own opinion and want to talk...

It isn't important if that opinion is right or wrong (usually that is a subjective thing), it is important that you have the FREEDOM to express it...

On the other side, or the next step is even worse... When you have rulers (actually, this doesn't mean only on country rulers, it is the same with companies and "bosses"), that are so pumped up with ego and arrogance that they don't allow you to make QUESTIONS...

Asking questions isn't even giving an opinion, it is asking for opinion usually, and when you aren't allowed to make them, that isn't good news for anyone... It is the beginning of dictatorship and tyranny...

Unfortunately, that is happening at this very moment... Every day we are willingly given parts of our human rights...

Look at businesses... As a result of lockdowns, a lot of people are losing jobs, a lot of families will not have food on their table tomorrow... And those that are still lucky to work, will ask questions from their employers? Will they dare to ask and lose their jobs? Of course not, as they will be replaced by someone other who aren't doing that... Regardless of the quality of the worker, age, race, or whatever else they put to divide us...

So, always ask questions... That is your right... When we stop to ask questions, we will lose our freedom...

In the end, I would like to highlight one post today... It is a post by @d00k13, where he started an interesting discussion about What is Wrong with Society... Check it out!

Thank you for your valuable time,

Thanks for your kind words, Cheryl...

I ask the same question all the time... sometimes because I forgot the answer, sometimes because I don't get an answer...

If we do not ask questions, how can we learn and grow.

Amen! I can't add anything else to that... Curiosity was always the thing that moved humanity... It can be risky, but there are no big improvements without the risk... ;)

Thanks for your comment, Randy!

Nice rant ;-). It's not because our grandparents had to live through wars, that we should just wear masks without asking questions about their utility...

What amazes me is when I look how people are wearing the masks. They have the nose out, they pull them down when they are outside, they play with them, they hang them on the rearmirror of their cars...

I think that when you don't ask yourself any questions, then you just follow the rules. This can be helpful for some people but it's not enough because these rules have always to be vulgarised (made comprehensible) for most people. So a lot of information have to be leaft out so that people understand the rule. In additon to that you don't know on what basis these rules have been set.

Coming back to the masks... Asking questions means to wonder whether masks can really help against the virus. Which masks are useful and which one protect whom. Most of the masks that people wear don't protect themselves but just the people around them. Then you need to know how to deal with the mask... So in spite of all the rules we need to ask ourselves questions. We can't rely on the rules and we can't rely on the people who set up these rules.

Sorry this got a bit long ;-)

Yeah, I could agree with what are you saying... If you say to people that 2+2 is 4, they will understand... But, if you say that 6-2 is also 4, that can be a problem...

But, on the other side, simplifying things can be very dangerous, and if nobody questions WHY, "they" can push through whatever they want... especially, when you SEE only ONE SIDE of the story... the one that is favorable...

Masks were just an example in my video, as that is really an "easy example"... But a good example of how anything can be served on a silver plate... and it looks gooooood :)

Couldn't agree more, Zoltan! That is the only way to learn and understand in any situation. What we see on the surface isn't all the information we need.

Indeed... The surface is for ALL, but under the surface is the most important info that you need... ;) And you have to DYOR, ask questions, and be stubborn... :)

When you have any question in your mind, you will get new information that you do not know. And to get the answer, you have to ask the question. There are answers to every question.

you are right... and a couple of my teachers said: "There are no stupid questions... only stupid answers..."

Thanks for the comment!
