Burial ceremony in my village

To bury in my hometown which is ondo state, you must have enough money, because the burial normally take one week,I travelled home last week to bury my grandpa who happens to be the Rtd arch bishop of Methodist Church, it was fun,but that fun had gone with alot of cash.
The children of the man,the children's children,wives,great grand children etc,all the family members will dance around with the corpse,the visitor will stay back at home eating,but the wife or husband of the deceased must not eat out of the food prepared,till after the deceased is buried, a day before he will be buried,we must prepare beans cake for everyone around, it's symbolizes long life for people eating it, it's just a form of praying for yourself for longer life,that they may prepare for someone, when someone also grow old and die, when young person died we don't prepare anything or even beans cake,he was later buried on the sixth day of the ceremony,then we all went to church on Sunday for thanks giving.
