Time cannot be replaced or saved for the future!

One of the most important skills that people involved in self-improvement, can learn is effective time management. There are more requests in our time than ever, everyone has too much to do, and it's easy to be overwhelmed by the amount of information we face every day. For the busiest people, all their time is taken, or at least it seems to be.

Time cannot be replaced or saved for the future. But can you manage the time? Everyone on Earth only has 24 hours a day, so why can some people get so much more than others? It can, of course, come to these people, or maybe they have made a conscious decision to learn the necessary skills.

Thinking and deciding what is most important in your life is probably the best starting point for effective personal time management. If you've worked on what you want to achieve in the most important areas of your life, it should automatically be easier to use your time more efficiently. If you regularly think about what's important to you, you'll probably want to spend more time on high-quality activities.

Another way to improve personal time management almost immediately is to just worry about the time before spending it. Ideally, you should always work on your most valuable tasks, tasks that bring you closer to your goals and desires.

One of the most effective ways to increase productivity and do more in less time is to write down everything you need to do, and then put everything in order of meaning. Your most important tasks are the ones you need to do. These are the tasks that will bring the greatest benefits or will have serious consequences if they are neglected.

Here are the tasks you need to perform, but they're not as important as tasks. After that, the tasks are beautiful to do, but they are of little or no real meaning.

Writing everything in writing helps you clear your mind and allows you to see things more clearly. You'll often find that you have less to do than you thought. You can also find things on your list that will now be considered when you see it in writing, as not a real value that you can delete.

The next step is to set up tasks in order of importance and start working on the most important tasks until they are complete. Often the most important tasks are things we don't like to do, which can make them more difficult in the first place. But this is one of the most important steps to increase productivity and effective time management. You should always work on your most important and valuable tasks. Less important or less valuable tasks should never start when larger tasks are not completed.

One of the worst ways to manage time is to start something and let it happen to other things. When you get back to it, you'll lose your momentum and have a trace of where you were, and sometimes you'll almost have to do it again. Some estimates suggest that it may take up to 500% longer to complete a task.

When you've decided on your most important task and started working on it, the reality is that everything else, by comparison, is a waste of time.
There is no doubt that you will significantly increase your productivity by writing and prioritizing everything you need to do and respecting your most important tasks until they are completed. Discipline and perhaps a little practice is needed, but it is one of the most valuable skills of all time and life management.

You got all covered in the post... From time-management, through organizing priorities to reach your goals, to life management... I would say that those are never-ending processes... We are adding new tasks, do prioritizing, drop some others, add again new, etc... There is always room for tweaking, and those little tweaks sometimes can save a lot of time...

Great post as always, and great points...

Thanks for the advice of starting with the most important tasks; I tend to forget that.

What I usually do is put the things I want to do in my digital agenda and work with colors; the most important ones are the red ones. Don't know if that helps any other person, but it helps me "psychologically".
I'm a visual person, so when something's done I make it green, which also stimulates another part of my brain "yes! Done, finally!" 😅
