Hello friends how are you. Today I want to talk to you about a musical instrument that enlivens the festivities in our plain and in the Colombian plain, it is the beautiful "Harp".
It is a stringed instrument, initially made in the western region. It has 32 or 33 nylon strings of different gauges and organized on the musical scale according to thickness. It is usually built in cedar, or pine. Transparent varnish is used in your painting so that it does not lose sound.
This a diatonic string instrument was used since the arrival of the Spanish, and in 1960 it was brought to the Colombian plains under the influence of the Apureños.
The harp has three models such as the Classical Harps (pedal), the Celtic Harps (with levers), and the Electric Harps
Venezuela has one of the best harpists in the world such as Eduardo Betancourt who was born in Caracas in 1976. This great Harpist won the Latin Grammy in 2010, with the album Tesoros de la Música Venezolana and was later nominated for 2016 with the album Pa 'Tío Simon.

In Venezuela, the Harp is widely used to play the traditional Joropo musical genre, where the game of zapateo (tapping, heels on the ground) is used.
The joropo in Venezuela is a generic term that refers to a type of music, rhythm and dance but also to a group of stable instruments centered around the harp.
Accompanied by chords like the cuatro, the guitar, the bandola. In it there are several variants depending on the region.
In the states of Aragua and Miranda it is found with the name joropo central d where the Harp is made of metal strings and is accompanied by maracas and singing.
In the plains we find it with the name of joropo llanero which is interpreted with a nylon-stringed harp, a llanera bandola, a cuatro and maracas.
In the East of the country we find the oriental joropo which incorporates additional instruments, such as the guitar, the mandolin, the oriental bandola and, sometimes, the accordion.

Hola amigos como están. Hoy le quiero hablar de un instrumento musical que ameniza las fiestas en nuestro llano y en el llano Colombiano, se trata de la hermosa “Arpa”.
Es un instrumento de cuerda, elaborado inicialmente en la región occidental. Tiene 32 o 33 cuerdas de nylon de diferentes calibres y organizadas en la escala musical según el grosor. Normalmente es construida en cedro, o pino. Se utiliza barniz transparente en su pintura para que no pierda sonoridad.
Este un instrumento de cuerda es diatónico se empezó a usar desde la llegada de los Españoles, y en 1960 fue llevada a los llanos Colombianos por influencia de los apureños.
El arpa cuenta con tres modelos como son el Arpas clásicas (pedal), el Arpas celtas (con palancas), y el Arpas eléctricas

El joropo en Venezuela, es un término genérico que se refiere a un tipo de música, ritmo y baile pero también a un grupo de instrumentos estables centrado alrededor del arpa.
Acompañado de acordes como el cuatro, la guitarra, la bandola. En él hay diversas variantes dependiendo de la región.
En los estados de Aragua y Miranda se encuentra con el nombre joropo central d donde el Arpa es de cuerdas de metal y se acompaña con maracas y canto.
En los llanos selo encontramos con el nombre de joropo llanero el cual se interpreta con un arpa de cuerdas de nylon, una bandola llanera, un cuatro y maracas.
En el Oriente del País encontramos el joropo oriental el cual incorpora instrumentos adicionales, como la guitarra, la mandolina, la bandola oriental y, a veces, el acordeón.
