Gala Games has recently announced Mirandus, their second blockchain game after the popular Townstar. It is good to be king in this epic world. In the imaginary world of Mirandus, the High King has the final word. Mirandus is a fantasy kingdom where the players can play various roles like traders, hunters, adventurers. You can become the king also while playing. Choices are boundless, adventurous and enormous. The company’s own Gala blockchain is the gateway to enter into the utopia.

Eric Schiermeyer, the creator of popular Facebook game Farmville, is behind the blockchain infrastructure of Gala Games. It is a Zynga venture. Their Lead Game Designer is Michael McCarthy who has a history of building deep RPG experiences for games like Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Gala Network encourages the developers to innovate and provide revolutionary gaming experience by providing in-game asset ownership over the blockchain. Gala is using Ethereum blockchain and ERC-1155 token standard. Yes, the in-game assets are NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) and tradable over the blockchain. If you own a citadel in MIrandus, you become the king. The king and his team members get a massive follower base due to their skills and attributes. Mirandus is not a multiplayer interactive conflict game generally. The player vs. player (PVP) mode gets activated only upon fulfilment of special conditions. The king is the most powerful person in this world. Land ownership is a key feature of the game. More land you own, you gain more power. The land deeds come with titles and the right to rule the land. The king makes rules. The king can break rules too.
