RE: Do you want to be an influencer or do you want to be more ?

I don't like the term "influencer" either. It sounds like I see/read something posted by such an account and automatically like what they do or promote. People aren't like that - at least I hope so ;)

I write what I want, when I find the time and energy for it, be it on Hive or Instagram. If people like it and tell me so - great. If not - that's fine, too. If they tell me why not, that leaves me the option to disregard their opinion or consider it.

Though I tend to write in niches - there's not a lot of interest on Hive in knitting and other needlework outside the #needleworkmonday community. My posts won't ever be on trending or other lists, but I hope that I bring something interesting or entertaining to those that read my posts.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I believe that Hive is still quite a young platform and there are not so many people on it yet. Hive is great for niche topics because it leaves space for any size of community. These communities can help each other develop and grow and thereby attract people from outside Hive.
