It has been quite some time since the Splinterlands game appeared on blockchain. Probably many gamers are not interested in this aspect, but I think over time they will look at it differently. Card game that was supposed to compete with the biggest titles like Hearthstone.
I myself bought my first starter pack after some time and upgraded my cards every day. I participated in a few tournaments and was an average player. As time went on, I think I got over it. There were a few reasons why I quit the game and what still bothers me.

The first pain for which I sold most of my cards was the lack of funds for development in the game. Of course for battles you could collect tokens exchangeable for hive, but it was a drop in the ocean. Every now and then new series of cards like untamed appeared.
Another problem are the bots in the game. Not only I do not like them. So far nothing has been done about it. Algorithm and bot win... Unfortunately.
After a long time a mobile game site Splinterlands appeared. Unfortunately no app in google play. Another disadvantage of the game for me is the music, or rather the lack of it? We have epic and legendary creatures but no sound effects. It's like in video production they say that sound is more important than graphics.

Of course, there are upsides to this game. A great community that is helpful.
I think that the game has a huge potential in the world of games and blockchain. The Brave browser has announced a partnership with Splinterlands which could make the game boom. BAT tokens in the game sounds great and looking at Brave's rising stock price it promises to be a blast.

I think the game still has a lot of updates and promotion ahead of it. I know it's not easy and some people like me may find it annoying, but the big Splinterlands fans will persevere to the end. I wish success to the creators of the game because there is definitely some sentiment left as my first game on blockchain.

PL

Algorytm i win bota.. niestety.

You can count me in and the issues you have shared are valid. This is decentralized game so you can create multiple account as many as you want but i think they should have to make some rules for bots. There are lots of bot players in the game.

Yup. I play like 30% of games with bots. It is really annoying because you cannot really feel the fair-play and sports competition thing.
