My Introductory Post

Hello, I am Ibeanu Chindo Winnifred, the last of six children. I am a medical graduate from the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria. I live at Port Harcourt and I am Igbo, from Anambra State. I have found a spiritual background in the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, a well known acronym used to refer to my church is MFM.

I have a penchant for being original, and it guides me through life. I tend to be straightforward, not overtly self conscious but just sufficiently self-aware. I crave cake, chocolates and ice cream on days I feel hungry. On other days, I am a picky eater.
I love to read engaging conversations and sometimes, make inputs. I enjoy trying out things outside my usual routine; exploring new gadgets and apps; cycling; writing; listening to podcasts. I am quite interested in a lot of things I have not seen or practised, like Nanomedicine. The thought that people could be healed with nanomolecules overwhelms me. An oblivion that holds so much hope for mankind through technology is a field I yearn to practice, and I will.

I have lots of excerpts from the Bible, books, movies sermons and conferences and they all tend to come in handy. In this movie Quicksilver, the protagonist said "a man that studies revenge keeps his own wounds green." That has informed my decision on forgiveness and letting go. Often times than not, it applies in most situations. Understanding that "people will always peep"- I just made that up- and so far human interactions will remain in this circle of life, we are prone to hurt and be hurt. Instead of analysing our hurt to hurt others, we should learn to let go. Another quote is "he who sups with the devil needs a long spoon." In your dealings with the enemy or opponent, keep a healthy distance.
Whenever I have a goal set in front of me, I'm always reminded of this quote, "genius is one percent inspiration and 99% perspiration." Once that idea is formed, a lot of hardwork is needed to push you into greatness. This is my guide.

I'm glad to announce my entrance into the Hive community and I'm already looking forward to how much entertaining it will be. Oh, this doesn't mean I'm here to laugh. Challenges tend to be entertaining if you're up for them, no?
