Wow! Awesome banners, and many thanks for making it available for us to use.
Now, I feel it's about time I ask you and find out: How do I go about putting them in a post?
Copy image and paste it into the post works, but how I make it clickable?

Thanks @stortebeker.

I guess there are two ways you could go about that. One is you could open the image in a new tab, and simply use the link in the address bar to use/borrow the image.

I would advise against the first way as it's a bit clunky and inefficient. The best way is to simply right click and save the image on your computer. Once you've done that, here is how you could upload it into your post with a custom hyperlink of your choice.

STEP 1
Put a pair of brackets next to some parentheses. This will be your starting point.
[]()

STEP 2
Upload whatever image or type in whatever text you want to use inside the brackets.

STEP 3
Put your destination URL in the parentheses. You're done! Click my handsome face to see the awesome place I've redirected you.

Wow, awesome! This was just incredibly helpful. I'm quite excited actually. Thank you so much. Now I can make my posts more visually appealing. By the way, it's your kids' blog I admire a lot for having so many skillful features: colorful spacers and texts in two columns. Very well made.

Okay, so since writing my last comment, my mind has been bubbling with ideas. I really would like to learn these same editing tricks that the @KidSisters use in their blog. I could start doing my own search (which I could have done long ago), or I could hire Srey-Yuu to teach me, maybe writing a how-to post, or in a number of quick step-by-step instructions, like the ones you gave me on using the banners.

The things I would most like to learn are:

  • splitting the screen in two columns,
  • adding thumbnails of images, and / or adjusting the size of the pictures,
  • positioning images left, right, and center, while having the text go around it,

These are pretty much the most important things I can think of now, though I'm sure other questions are bound to come up on the way.

So my question to you is: Do you think Srey-Yuu could teach me these things? Do you think she'd be up for it? Would it be okay for me to hire her as a teacher? I was thinking to offer her 70 HIVE for her efforts. Do you think this would benefit all of us? If not, that's perfectly all right, but I think this could be fun and useful at the same time.

I think this is a good idea and a heck of motivator. So, she knows 85% of the markdown techniques I use in my posts, but that is more than enough to make a tutorial. I already mentioned this idea to her, and she's up for it. All I have to do is teach her the code to make markdown visible.

Today we are preoccupied getting her first tokenized digital artwork uploaded to the NFT Showroom but I will make sure this project is one of the posts she works on in the next couple of days. Thanks for your support of my whole family's Hive journey. !ENGAGE 100 !WINE
