My story of our tomorrows leader

While growing up as a child I can vividly remember that one of the reason we were told to take our studies serious was so that we will become the leaders of tomorrow. Believe me it was really an inspiration while growing up but just last year a friend called me and ask me how far for the leadership stuff, I was thrown into serious confusion because I could not figure out what he meant and where he was going to.

I spent some good number of days trying to understand what he was talking about, but all was fruitless, so I decided to go to his place of residence, I acted as if nothing actually happened, he was exited having me after a very long time of not visiting him, He gave me a wonderful treat, but for want of time, I will not border giving you the details of the treat.

We talked till about 6:30pm Nigerian time, then he pushed and ask are you not going today, I smiled but no voice response, he became a bit serious, and then I laughed because my plans were working out, while he was trying to find out why I was laughing, I decided to replay what actually brought me to his house, I ask him why he opted to putting me in such a situation?, he said he was only asking me a question that he also have been asking himself but can’t give any considerable answer.

After the long talk, I was to leave the next day, while preparing to leave, the song we were thought back then in school started playing in my mind. Here goes the song,” Parent... listen to your children......, we are..... the leader of tomorrow, try and pay are fees and give us sound education"
sincerely our parent really heard our cry, they paid our fees, send us to private schools since the public schools were not making sense anymore of which the naratives have not changed even till now.

Now my sincere question is that from my age of three, i was told that am the leader of tomorrow, am gradually aging with no hope of even having a good leadership structure, talk more of me becoming the leader, please can any one help me, ** when will we finally become the leaders of tomorrow?**, my reason for asking is that this men began at their early 20s, now some are in their 70s, please i need help so as to know what next to do.

Please am very serious, if this men drank something that we don't know, perhaps something like combo or any other stuff they should tell fast so that we can do same, we are tired of old men deceiving us, now the young men are already getting confused and they don't know what to do, my cry now is that please we need help and we need it very fast before water go pass garri ohhhh
