The philosophical content of geometry

The approach to knowledge is a wide world with infinite aspects, but in the field of science it is subject to the application of logic, where the essence of reason goes through a series of methodological steps, which in turn is subjected to several theorems in the search for the answer to the unknowns to be solved in the field of science.

Thanks to the virtue of the past as background we find ourselves, in the search for the affirmation of a more convincing theorems to find the truth, it is for this reason of the basic knowledge where it has the geometry in mathematical plane, the use of points, the equation of the straight line as the clearest essence of its field of knowledge of studies, under the context of the observation of reality. In such a way that makes use of the free play of representative axioms use, to give a more logical answer containing the basis of the most demonstrative truth, whose applied methods are known.


I wish to add the following:

The mathematical doing is a craft rooted in a tradition, its rationality is not reduced to the logical consistency of its formalized results, but it is inseparable from the doing that illuminated the perfectible results and always susceptible to be completed and refined.

An example of the questioning of the methods of geometry, is whether it is true that only two points are needed to draw a straight line, or whether the search for the truth in the unknowns is feasible using the second degree equation, considering the basic knowledge of Euclid. The approach of geometry deals with the logical relationship that these concepts have with each other, either figures or planes related to the objects of nature, to determine the origin of this.


That is why geometry is also supported by philosophy in the sense, in the practice of reason which is linked to the customs exercised on our thinking, to see a plane and associate all the images, using criteria such as shapes, textures, symmetry in such a way to establish axioms to determine what we are going to study under the scheme of this science. Considering independently of the variations of position to which we submit the body or figure, the theorems of geometry become axioms of reference, because it is using variables for study or unknown to differentiate and maintain a more conclusive methodology.

More precisely, Euclid explicitly introduced the axiomatic format (also called method). This consists in starting by listing the basic concepts and postulates, i.e. ideas not derivable from other ideas in the same system, and deriving (defining or deducing) from them the others.

What this content is about is the veracity of the nature of geometric theorems, which are constructed by means of rules that is why physics applies it, to explain natural phenomena, it also serves as a basis for the field of astrology to estimate the distance between stars and explain the movements of satellites, it is for them that the theory of general relativity, has its essence from geometry. It is possible in a smoother way to explain, where point A and point B, such a line of union, can be built or elaborate a segment, establishing at the junction of that point in a plane or in a geometric representation way in this way associates the star to establish the distance between them.
