Am I the only one around here who's hoping for a few more Steem pumps before the end of my full power down?

I've spent the entire day in front of my computer screen trying to guess what is Justin going to do next.

Why Justin?

Because obviously he's the only one trying to save Steem from the wreckage.

Things went wild and people all over the Internet now know that Steem has turned out to be a centralized blockchain, where freedom of speech doesn't really matter and anyone could be silenced completely censored at any given moment.

I highly doubt that new investors / users like that idea...

He lost the community, and he is now left with few Koreans and all those who pretend to be by his side, with the hope that they'll have his support if they run a witness, or, maybe some of those fat $300+ votes land on their posts.

The true community has migrated to Hive. And I couldn't be more happy about it.

So I guess the question on the title is more of a rhetorical one.

I do know what to do with my Steem. I'll sell it till the last token. I just don't know when is the right timing.

Seeing HIVE performing like that the last couple of days made me think that it would be enough to trigger his ego and most likely he would attempt to pump Steem's price...

There was such an attempt earlier today. Steem climbed from 2050 Sats to 2350 but there was so much selling pressure that despite the 150+ BTC spent by the buyers(?) they would need 10x that amount to push the price higher and compete HIVE.

Dammit...I should have taken a screenshot to see the depth of the Steem market.

A few hours later...and the depth of the market looks completely different.

Doesn't it look like a damn mountain...vs a small hill?

Don't get me wrong here. But if there's a chance to get back some of the money I've spent to buy Steem those past 2 years, I wanna grab it.

Besides...Steem has been a disaster ROI wise...and my dollar cost average is way higher than 16 cents.

But I have a feeling that he won't give up so easily...maybe he's plan it to wait another 8 - 9 weeks until most of the power downs have been completed till he makes his next move?

So should I start selling like...immediately because in a few weeks the Steem tokens that I am holding will be worth like a sack full of shit?

Or be patient and see how things will play out?

How about you? Are you holding? Are you selling? Are you reinvesting in Hive?

I've been selling STEEM for HIVE for 4/5 weeks now but I'm not sure what I'll do with the next power down. I think it could be worth holding some STEEM as, like you say, Justin is probably fuming right now and will want to push STEEM up.

I'll be selling on spikes, and trying to buy HIVE dips.

To be honest out of the five payments so far only 1 was fully converted to Hive. And it was a good one, like 1/ 1.5

Other than that I don't know what I should do...kinda lost tbh...I don't even now if holding is wise atm. The fact that we want him to pump the price doesn't necessarily mean that he'll do so...

I'll be selling on spikes, and trying to buy HIVE dips.

I tried to buy the dips too but this damn thing keep going up... :P

Yeah, chasing the price ain't fun, surely it'll cool off in a few days?

I got lucky I guess, powered it all up though - it's done 300% since!

300% up eh? That would have been a great trade, if however price pulls back.

Cool off eh? We'll see...A part of me doesn't want it to cool off, you know the addiction to stake more and more

My next powerdown is Sunday, and I’m hoping for a Steem pump and a bit of a hive correction. I wish js would change the powerdown like he was saying before.

I have been going through the same thought process. I expect them to lock up a few more people's funds before it is over with. I also think he will wait until after the power downs for a big pump.

I haven't had the courage to hold the steem, though. I have been selling to hive, BTC and ETH.

I am holding like 15 more K on the exchanges and waiting some price action that is yet to happen...Damn...I think I am gonna regret that

Pulling it back from Steemit wallet because...who knows we could be next...

exactly.. I don't feel safe leaving anything in my wallet. Those guys are really looking to punish anyone who supports Hive. That dude justyy made a 'witness voting history tool' that he put on his website that lists the witness voting history of a given user. What other reason would this tool need to exist other than to vet people for blacklisting or punishment based on their voting decisions.

Ffs...it's getting worse by the day...

Moments like this I wish I could power down my stake in 1 day. Not 3 as they proposed but 1

Totally reinvesting in hive. Like whatever i get, even the tiniest amount. Though I'm not trading or anything cause i don't have much.. sigh!.. just 100% staking.

But it hurts seeing steem go down this path. nothing but miracles can save it now. For the last two days, there was two posts on trending written in Spanish about "how google play store works". Blatant bid bot abuse allover again. pre biblical times shit if i had to say so..

I haven't sold any steem yet. I need it to pump. But I did sell my liquid hive today because I have never held a token that went up 400% in 2 days. It has to dump and I'm not yet sold on Hive's future. I still have my staked hive but I feel like selling my liquid hive was a win. I got exactly .btc so now I can say I have some btc

After reading the news, I only have on Q Hive is pumping now but how long will it last?
My next powerdown is Sunday, will there be any price correction? hopefully so. Though it is great waking up with account worth more than several months ago. I am kind of excited with the whole thing. another Q is, what will justin do? he is a businessman and doesn't want to lose his investment. Would it be better to hold some steem just in case :D

I highly doubt that JS will try to pump so much STEEM to be again behind HIVE, that means risking money without a good plan to have profits. Anyways if he does there will be a lot of speculation with STEEM and woudn't be sustainable. Imo is way better to take out all the STEEM you have and investing it in another thing. Not necessarily in HIVE right now because is very likely to go down a bit again.

Anyways is hard to know what the prices of both chains will do. HIVE is in madness mode right now.

It's just that feeling I've got "he must have a backup plan..."

Yeah, I thought the same at the beggining of this chain of events, since he said that would move STEEM into TRON but that doesn't necessarily means that he has to pump STEEM. Anyways you're possibly right, you have much more experience than mine in the matter.

The issue is that this guy seems really pissed off with what happened and that is always a bad signal in relation with any bussiness. He has lost incredible amounts of credibility in nearly two months.

Sincerely it would be great if what you say turns to be true, that would allow us to make some profit of the power down.

The current top trending post on STEEM is talking about a pump and then shows a picture with a 1% increase.

This did make me laugh...

It's about as much as we can expect from STEEM I suppose under these times. I'm just selling it as it powers down.

hahahhahahha. And its payout if I am allowed?

Should have done that too...I had to fight my daemons tho...eventually I've only sold 1/5 till a few hours ago where I finally managed to ride that last wave.

Offloaded 90% of my Steem holdings at a good price. The sad thing is that I should have done it long ago and buy as much Hive as I could. Made a post a day or so after that...jumping of the roof for missing such a great opportunity to grow my account 10x in no time seemed a seasonable choice...

Meh...probably a new opportunity will pop up...someday...No?

It's here, $94.. thats massive for a STEEM post.

I suppose SPUD is now HPUD, doesn't quite have the same ring? I'm thinking Hewlett-Packard for some reason.. hmmm

Lol.. Ya, Hewlett Packard comes close..

FFS...are those paid votes? If not, I guess bot owners just don't speak Chinese / Korean and curate all kinds of crap.

Freedom needs his Steem after all...

They do look like the paid votes of old pre-DV fork. The trending 'over there' is reverting back to what it looked like a year ago.
