Welcome to a new month rich gentlemen and ladies. As always, the first day of the month in most Nigerian churches involves a lot of prophecies and promises.

Mine started almost the same way. I spent the night with my girlfriends and they decided to start the day with prayers. I begged so it only lasted about 5 minutes.

I feel a lot energized after some girl time and I think it was the best way to start the month due to the fact that I've been stressed for the last couple of weeks and I have exams on Monday and Tuesday.

Well, I'm back to reality and as such, I have to get my head in the game to figure out what tasks I can give to myself this month to earn me some more money to have more awesome days with my girls.

Progress so far

Last month I had a lot of targets set for myself. Although I didn't give myself a deadline then, I observed some patterns and gave myself a specific period I expect to have attained these goals.

They're quite simple goals really. I don't intend on putting myself on a leach or getting pressured about these goals. I'm taking my days one after the other and enjoying the process. And it has been fun progress, to say the least.

So, I initially had goals set for my Leo, Hive and POB.

LEO

The goal set was 1,000 Leo. I didn't give myself a deadline because I hardly know what to expect. However, I made some awesome progress.

The last time I wrote about my Leo goal, I was celebrating coz I had attained over 400 Leo. Now, thanks to my Leo curation account @karin.leo I've attained 845.7 Leo.

This raises my curation value to 0.085 Leo at 100%.

I love the progress made with Leo so far. I never would have expected this much progress in such a short period of time. From my calculations, at this pace, I could attain my goal of 1000 Leo in 2 weeks.

Hive Power

I'd like to consider my progress with Hive to be a cheat. My Hive Power has been increasing quite slowly, so after making a withdrawal of my HBD, I returned it in form of Hive and then I powered up.

So, while I'm pleased with this current figure coz it's close to my target, I'm still keeping my initial target in mind.

The target set about 4 weeks ago was 500 HP and now I'm pleased with the 400.5 HP I've gathered. This comes in handy alongside the 200 delegations I got as a reward and I've been using it to do some curating over there as well.

I project that in the next 2 weeks I should be able to reach my 500 HP target, that's if all things move according to plan.

POB

I've never been certain about POB and how to go about improving my holding there. However, I've still been relentless about it. Although I don't post through the front end often, I always use the tag and I recently activated my curation account @miss-golden.

I currently have 193.8 POB and I think I'm happy with that. I could do better but due to the fact that all I do is use the tag and curate, I'm pleased with the progress made so far.

New Targets

A lot of things have changed over the last couple of weeks and I thought about these goals and it's safe to say I'm okay with the goals I've set, however, I've decided to make some improvements and adjustments.

While the main goals remain; 1000 Leo, 500 Hive and whatever happens with POB. I'm making some adjustments and additions.

For instance, I'll be adding goals and targets for SPT as Splinterlands has now become a constant part of my life. So, I now have to work on improving my SPT tokens in order to improve my rewards for the SPS airdrop that I'll be receiving over the next 1 year. Best to make the most of this opportunity now that I see it.

SplinterTalks

I only just realized this was a front end of its own. I feel ashamed but at least I know better now. I'll be making posts there once in a while and staking my SPT tokens. So far, I have pretty much nothing.

However, for the month of August, I'm giving myself the target of 10,000 SPT. This feels like a large number but I'm certain I'll be able to achieve this due to the rate at which posts on the community are being upvoted.

From the information I've gathered, this ought to improve my earnings from the airdrop.

LEO

I'm certain of reaching my 1,000 Leo in the next 2 weeks. But what next?

I'll keep staking all my Leo rewards for this entire month. However, after this month I'll begin making amends in anticipation of the end of the year.

Initially, I intended on paying myself monthly with half my earning at the end of the month, starting September month ending, but I changed my mind.

Although I'll still be making some withdrawals once in a while when I need to offset bills, I'll keep most of my earnings liquid, maybe 70%, and then I'll stake the remaining 30% and delegate to my curation account.

I'm doing this in anticipation of December and January price spikes. I want to be prepared as I'll be having some expenses from next year.

Hive Power

After attaining my target HP, I'll just keep going and set a new target for myself just to have something to look forward to. Maybe 500 more HP in the next 2 months. Who knows what I'll be able to achieve with enough consistency?

POB

I think I might be able to attain 300 POB this month. But, yeah, no pressure. My POB grows at a slow pace, so I'll just do what I can.

These are basically my intentions for August. As always, there's no pressure.
