Interesting, never tried the earn and learn stuff at coinmarketcap.

Used to be fun reading their newsletter... now no. Mostly checking stuff on my own and learning seeing various websites, mostly news outlets, coingecko and seeing material from the crypto projects original website, and ofcourse from my favorite crypto youtubers -

Nicolus Merting(data dash), lark davis(crypto lark) and Guy (Coin Bereau)...they are all very helpful!!

They are entertaining as well...not people who give wrong information like many youtubers do. Please check them out.

My skills on reading trading view charts developed watching Data dash... crypto lark is a clown but has nice insights on crypto too...COin Bureau equips you with doing reserch on projects - gives you details you need to know.

After this some day we all will be crypto smarts with all these insights.

Unfortunately coinbase banned me. They disabled buying (and earning these random cryptos) because they said it was strange that I'm an american who lives in Japan. I worked with tehir support back and forth for months, and finally they banned me, for the reason "We aren't allowed to tell you". Hmmm...ok... So I'm always a bit sad when I see the random crypto that I could be getting there. Oh well. I didn't know coinmarketcap did the same. I'll check them out! Thanks for the tip

Oh that sucks ! Crazy that they could not understand your story and be flexible. In any case, it is not a lot of crypto that you missed but this is always annoying.
For CMC I understood that it might be an higher issue amount but that it is Not 100% sure you will be picked.
