The Digital Asset called "Fun" on Hive Blockchain
I grew up to learn that one must work so hard to make ends meet and that involves waking up so early and doing some "hard works" that may leave you tired and exhausted at the end of the day. On the other hand, it may demand a long 8:00am to 4:00am boring and exhausting office presence. Lo, time has evolved and things has so changed drastically.
From e-mails to web 2 socialmedia smart technology, we can see a gradual acceleration in technology that seeks to ease human labour, save time and have man have some more time to rest and be more useful to the family and society at large. But how many people gets to learn this paradigm shift?
From 2010 to 2017, I have been a writer and for many nights, I tarry to get a piece of write out only to get some bucks that gets exhausted with paying for power bills/fuel, fixing my gadgets, food, attending to my strained health and most times with not any significant amount to save let alone talk of an investment. Joining Hive in 2018 sparked the difference. However, the first year was just spent in enjoying the blockchain and building relationship through engagment.
With the emergence of tribes, Actifit dapp was built and it previewed an awesomely new face of the blockchain which cared more about users' fitness and wellbeing, yet providing opportunity for Hive users to earn while keeping fit. Not long games emerged, SPlinterlands, Holybread DCity, Rabona games among others.
Being an old lover of soccer games, I got glued to Rabona fantasy sports and the experience has been way awesome with amazing earning options which also catalyses management and business skills on players. Fun has become a digital asset on Hive and that's already a re-definition for work. There's a shift in the narrative. I write for the love of it and do that at will today. No more leading a boring day. We fun as applicable with web 2 social media but with a daily paycheck after first 7 days.
