Can somebody explain me what the water tower does in Cryptobrewmaster?

This new feature popped up today and I just rented it for a week but I am a retard and I don't understand what it does, lol. Also, I couldn't find any more info or announcement about it on the official @cryptobrewmaster account. Does it give water material? And if yes why not get it from the tasks?

Anyways, yesterday I also brewed my first perfect beer! An orange IPA. Fun thing was I used mostly shitty materials so I guess I got really lucky! I actually got so excited I forgot to screenshot it! Here it is though from my inventory:

I am cutting down on alcohol though so I figured to try and sell it for a stupid high price. Feel free to buy it on the market and make me rich!

I read somewhere (Discord or Telegram) from Rollie that they were going to reduce or even stop distributing the water via the Daily Quests.
This way the water tower of marketplace will be the only place to get your water.

Interesting update, no idea what it's doing other than what is said ingame, though.
We'll have to wait for rollie to give us an explanation or for somebody else to figure it out ;-)

Total guess but water towers are there to help with water pressure so I guess it helps supply water at a higher pressure so you can make more beer. Must be an upgrade so it must help increase volumes I guess.

Not sure, but I clicked on RENT and I immediately got this screen

When I click on start, I am making water

I clicked on 'finish now' and this is what I got

And I did it again, and again blue water :)
So I guess you rent it and create water which you either sell or you use it?

Let's see if anyone else has something better to share

Just rented one myself after reading your post and I've been producing Water non-stop! Seems like we are gonna see a building for every beer ingredient soon!

I believe it is the only way to get water cards now. You lease the tower and get a card every 30 minutes but if you produce continuously, your water keeps getting worse and worse (the % get more weight in the low-quality ones) so you may need to regenerate.

No idea what the water tower means as I just started playing Cryptobrewmaster ( my very first blockchain game experience, aside from some short stints on games ages ago on the platform that should not be named ), using your referral.

I actually stopped drinking alcohol in real life four months ago so let's see what this game is gonna do with me.
