A Simple & Fast Trick to Help Leo Grow!

Here's a super easy and fast trick for all you lions following me to help Leo grow:

Yep! It's that simple! Just change your personal website (which probably is set to nothing) to point to your leofinance profile, or just leofinance.io.

To do that, just visit https://hive.blog/, go to settings and edit the website box to include a link to your profile:

Btw, that will change your profile link also on peakd and all other hive interfaces (e.g. palnet.io) giving even more links to Leofinance! NOTE: Change might take a while to appear, just be patient!

Now, without getting into much details into seo, this will help leo improve it's position on Google, as every link pointint to it counts as a "vote" of approval in the eyes of google. Generally speaking, the more "votes" the better. Of course, don't expect just this to do any HUGE change but imo in SEO every little bit helps. Especially if many of us do it! It's just one of the many pieces of the puzzle and it's something that all we that care for leo can do!

And don't forget, you can do the same on other social media sites you use. Like for example twitter:

Ah, good idea,

But alas I have mine pointing to my main blog over at revisesociology.com

NB - part of the reason I don't constantly drop links to that blog in here (I could have done then, but I didn't you'll notice) is that I'm sure Google gets suspicious when a whole load of links start to point to something from one source - it kNOWS that it's low quality links, rather than decent articles referencing something.

I think that might be the case with people changing their blogs on Hive and linking to leo?

It might NOT do SEO any good - especially if people click on those links, realise the feed is EXACTLY THE SAME AS ON HIVE and then click back to hive immediately, thus harming LEO's bounce rate, which in turn harms the SEO.

Might not be the best idea encouraging everyone to change their user profile links on Hive.

I only tend to link back to my main blog when I write something on here that I think is going to attract people to click around my site.

Someone who knows more about SEO than me maybe able to clarify. I may be wrong.

Well, i doubt more than 30 - 40 people will follow what I say which is just tooo small to raise a penalty for spam, especially considering how it's just a bare link, not targetting kws. And by this point, leo has all sorts of links coming it's way, it's not like suddenly thousands of links will appear out of nowhere for a site that nobody uses! :P

Same for retention I think ! Just look at https://simpleanalytics.com/leofinance.io, we have like 5 views per user on average. I bet, Google "knows" by this point that this is a site people like to use and view multiple times. A couple of click backs won't harm, and I doubt many people will click these links anyways :P

Honestly, I doubt this will have any positive or negative impact, but if it does I think it will be slightly positive, since I asked people to change profile links on other places too, like twitter. But hopefully, what i am trying to achieve is to change the mentality of some, and show them they can help leo and hence themselves by spreading the word ;)

Well it's certainly a good way of boosting morale.

I guess in the grand scheme of things it won't make that much difference given the amount of links pointing in.

I'm just suspicious of Hive - low quality site!

Good idea. Look at all the replies on this post with people changing links on not only their Hive account, but also their other socials. The people love you bro ;)

To add to the idea, another good one to update links within is Quora. I've got clickable links in my Quora profile like this:

Then on every forex/crypto question I answer such as this forex demo trading question, I have the LeoFinance.io domain in my headline which everyone sees on the page:

That's a good tip. I changed my Twitter url a few days back, but I actually didn't think of changing the url on Hive.blog. Probably because I haven't used the website setting at all..

I also like the fact that you talk about seo. We have loads of traffic waiting for us if we did just some minor seo optimizations on our posts. So this was a good first step.

Anyhow, it's done.

I'm doing something similar as I have a lot of sites. I use a website called link tree and it lets me have several links on personalized page. This is my Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/eddiespino

And this is how it looks when someone clicks on it.

Yesterday I added my LeoFinance Blog. I have this "link tree" in all my sits, I use is as a way to verify that I am the person behind all those sites. What I just did is adding the LeoFinance link to my Twitter in addition to the Link Tree.

Seo is free marketing. Once a site post is in top of google, the traffic will increase from organic search of keyword.

Fastest Trick to Help LEO Grow would be on board all the crypto YouTubers with HIVE and 3Speak. And give them certain percentage of $LEO tokens and $SPEAK tokens and lock those tokens for 3 years.
