SPinvest's 1st year on HIVE roundup post - 300% HIVE gains and fund growth of over $150k

Hello, SPIer's. We have just finished our first year on HIVE so let's take a few minutes to have a look and see how far SPinvest has gone in the past year in terms of growth.

On the 15th May 2020, SPinvest swapped over its tokens from steem-engine to hive-engine and the HIVE journey began. We held no hive-engine investment tokens so no BRO, utopis, index, etc. Our off-platform investments consisted of only 0.15% BTC and $7000 worth of tether USDT and HIVE was the dominant holding still. We added @eddie-earner and created @lbi-token, we have funded a tribe and explored defi since.

To give you an idea, below is a snapshot of SPinvest's HE tokens and off-platfroms below from earning and holding report #1.

Now lets forward 1 year today and see what HE tokens and off-platforms investments we hold.

Big difference? We got our BTC at an average price of under $10,000, we got our ETH at $330 and we've built close to $20,000 in LP's. LEO has mooned and we are one of the biggest wallets for BRO, UTOPIS and VIBES through shrewd back door deals (token swapping basically). I never would have thought so much growth could come in 1 year but it's happened.

SPinvest has seen a growth of 300% in HIVE and 400% in dollars since this same time last year. Well done to everyone that has been holding are invested pretty much at any time.

To that much has changed, a few are gone and a few replace them. We see that underground sold out, he cashed out all his SPI's to Tether USDT. That cost SPinvest $5000 but we've used those tokens to get 2000 BRO, 2000 UTOPIS and pay dividends for the past year so bargain for us and also good for underground, he made a few thousand from SPinvest and that's what it's all about. I hope the ones that have sold out have made 400% gains :)

What will SPinvest look like in 2022?

I would hope bigger than it is today. As we continue in the full year, our crypto bags will continue to pump. Our biggest challenge this year is to try and catch the top of the market are close to it. We know from history that towards the end of the bull run, things get very aggressive and the greatest gains come in the last few weeks before the pop happens. This helps a little but in reality, we will have to guess and wait 3-6 months to see if we timed it good is not. When we see BTC 2-3x in under a month, it's prob near time to sell out. I would hope that by this time next year, most of our funds are in the form of stables tokens that are earning 8-10% for a year while waiting for the bear market to take full grip so we can buy our forever HODL BTC. Sell high, but low and HODL for 20 years.

On the HIVE side of things, who knows? Last year HIVE was just starting out and projects were still switching over from STEEM. This year we have tons more tribes, investment tokens, better UI's, more games and even defi farming projects. I mean we are still waiting on SMT's but they might not even be required as there are 2-3 sidechains being built. I cant make any prediction about what will happen on HIVE, all I can say is, we'll still be here are wherever the community is.

The plan for the next of the year is the keep doing what are doing and dont make any big mistakes. We'll most likely add another token to SPinvest, one I've been looking to introduce for a while but never had a good way to market it.

To wrap up, I dont know really what to say. It's been a fantastic year and it mostly been possible because of the token holders that produce content, manage wallets and play games for us. Remember that SPinvest is 100% profit share, no tokens were pre-issued, there were no team tokens and every single token was paid for. All of the work and effort part in benefits everyone the same and results over the past year are proof that many hands make light work. I would also say I personally manage my time much better than compared to last year which is good as the workload keeps growing but the time required stays almost the same.

Once again, well done to everyone that has been holding. SPI is a growth token and was marketed as a HODL token, there are many playing the game right and it's great to see that the people that are involved and understand exactly what we do continue to invest with us.

If the next year is half as good as the past, we'll be a million-dollar fund in no time
