Leofinance Bridge: All Roads Lead to Hive

Connecting Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain DeFi Platforms.

If you missed the Leofinance AMA on CyberBuzz last Saturday I recommend you read my ten minute post or listen to the two hour podcast. The link is in my post.

That AMA was very informative and one of the topics they talked about was Leo Bridge, which I think warrants a interview or post all by itself!

Background:

Many investors are invested in Uniswap, MakerDao or multiple other DeFi projects on the Ethereum blockchain. Because that’s where money is being made with very high APR Yield Farms, Staking Pools and Liquidity Pools.
Those investors are paying expensive transaction fees from 25 to 300 dollars US.

Many investors are looking for these same opportunities off the Ethereum blockchain.

Binance created the Binance Smart Chain to be faster, cheaper and to support clones or forks of popular applications on Ethereum. So Pancake Swap, and others were born.

Many investors left Ethereum Binance Smart Chain. Pancake Swap, a fork of Uniswap, on Binance Smart Chain now has 9 billion dollars in total value locked. Binance built it and so the investors came.

The problem is the difficulty of getting to Binance from Ethereum based applications, if you can’t use Binance Bridge.

You have to exchange your wrapped tokens for ethereum and pay big transaction fees, then you transfer your ethereum to Binance exchange paying more fees. Then wrap your ethereum as a Binance smart chain token and pay fees. Then transfer your new wrapped ethereum to Binance smart chain and pay fees. Every transfer involves fees and copying and pasting wallet addresses. If you copy the wrong address you lose your cryptocurrency.

One person’s problem is another person’s opportunity.

Now consider these four things:

#First, Leofinance already built a bridge from Leofinance on the Hive blockchain to Uniswap on the Ethereum blockchain. So investors have one step or one click transfer of Leo to WLEO to a metamask wallet connected to Uniswap. Which means investors also have a one step or one click transfer of WLEO back to Leofinance as Leo in our Leofinance Wallet.

#Second, Leofinance already built a bridge between Leofinance on the Hive blockchain to Cubfinance on the Binance Smart Chain. So investors have a one step or one click transfer of Leo token on the Hive blockchain to their BLEO wallet on Binance smart Chain.

#Third, The common denominator here is a Leofinance Account on the Hive blockchain and 5 Hive to pay all your transaction fees on Hive.

#Fourth, if Leofinance connects these bridges together Investors on Uniswap or any other DeFi platform on Ethereum have a simple two step solution to move Ethereum and ERC tokens from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain easily. They just need to complete the 20 second instant signup for a Hive account using Twitter or Metamask. And all transfers go through Leofinance Interface on the Hive blockchain.

This solution to a real problem which effects a group of investors in 30 countries, one of whom, the USA has over 300 million people.

It effect makes trading on Binance Smart Chain easier for those 20 countries.

It is also easy for investors to trade in Cubfinance.

This type of utility spreads by word of mouth like a wildfire in the forest. And it’s the best Advertising you can get.

So far Uniswap hasn't been down even for a second. Pancakeswap on the other problems suffered a DNS attack yesterday and CZ himself warned users to stay away from it for a while. Being cheap though it offers the chance to everyone in being part of DEFI. There's a lot of potential in Leofinance and it fills so many gaps that Hive and the blockchain industry had.

Yes, DeFi is risky.. fortunately @khaleelkazi had CertiK audit the Cubfinance project during its construction and after completion.🙏

Omfg booooom I had no idea that's how big this was.

I need to ape more, do people know how big this is? CUB going to explode once it starts getting listed. If this is true, this is big like epically big.

Once CUB hits those centralised exchanges....

BRB investing more.

That is pretty awesome. I know from first hand experience how horrible those fees can be getting a token from one chain to the other. I lost a crap ton (for me) of BNB that way. It was horrible. I am really excited about this.

Yes, I feel your pain, just moving ETH over was a large chunk of capitol...
Then learning to adjust fees on BSC was another learning experience. But whatever we do for our brain is never wasted!😉

Why we need a binance wallet in the first place? We have leo wallet or hive. Will cub do mining there? Sorry, just some beginners want to learn about this cub.

We are all learning. Just follow some of the walk through videos, and also read these short posts on cross blockchain trading for some background which should help a lot.

Your right we don’t need a Binance wallet, we need a Binance smart chain wallet. Because Binance Smart Chain is another blockchain, our Leo can’t trade there. So we swap our Leo for tokens which can trade there called BEP-20 tokens. These bep-20 tokens represent our Leo on Binance Smart Chain, and they are called B-Leo or BLEO.
These BLEO must be kept in a Binance Smart Chain.

HiVE LP pools on pancake and uni are pretty sad, I’d like to see bHIVE added to cub just to give the old gal some love there’s plenty of hive bag holders who I’m sure would be keen to defi with their HIVE

Why people need hive account? I don’t think they need hive account in order to transfer Crypto from ETH to BSC.
