Very nicely written @finguru! Clear and concise. There is, for me, only the simple question of who exactly is "behind the curtain" on this "Master Chef" address? And, most importantly, can they be trusted?

As I participated in the LPs from the outset, a number of us in the LeoFinance community suffered from the hack of the original LP in UniSwap. From the limited understanding I have (had) of the details reported, it was very sophisticated. Someone with advanced programming skills had the technical savvy (although morally bankrupt) to make themselves prosper at the expense of everyone else ...

I am looking forward to what @khaleelkazi and his LeoFinance dev team come up with to solve this problem of "visibility" to how our investments are doing. I am sure they are working on it. And based on past performance, I think we can all trust them very much.

For now, in my great desire to know the answer to the question of how my investment is doing so far, I guess I will go ahead and trust this website. And hope, until LeoFinance provides me a better alternative, that I don't live to regret it. For myself (highly recommended to anyone else ...), I do have a lot of faith in my Ledger-backed access to my "account," so I will rely upon that, as my "first line of defense" ...

Thanks for writing this!

P.S. For anyone who might read this, I hope a future post will cover the technical details associated with how to "unconnect" from these various tools. Once we have a better alternative ...

First of all, Thank you so much for your comment @roleerob.

who exactly is "behind the curtain" on this "Master Chef" address?

I don't know who exactly is the person behind it but this Master Chef address denotes the platform where your Holding are. So in our case, MC address for CubFi is "0x227e79C83065edB8B954848c46ca50b96CB33E16". So, No problem here.

I guess I will go ahead and trust this website.

I totally understand your concern. You can trust it sir since they are only taking read permission. They cannot modify your account in any way.

how to "unconnect" from these various tools.

You can disconnect by Simply going to your Wallet > Account Options > Connected Sites and see the list of sites you are connected to. Delete this website and you are good to go.

I am damn sure they are working to bring us an in-house analytics that would show us our investments and other data in detail. All in due time.

I hope this comment addresses all of your concerns. Please let me know if you still have any questions regarding this. Would be happy to help. Cheers!! :)) Have fun making CUBs!!!

Thank you for this comprehensive reply @finguru. I especially appreciate learning this address is linked to CubFi. Maybe they will be on the dropdown list in the future. After all, we are only "talking" about Day #5, after it has launched ...

Having now experienced the power of this very useful utility website, I have learned that it "auto" disconnects each time. At least, that is what we are led to believe ... 😉 It does not escape my notice that, whoever is "behind the curtain," has chosen to identify themselves as "nopantytonight" and, worse, hovering over their "donate" hyperlink does not produce a result. 😒 That is almost certainly no accident ...

Anyway, thanks again for your response. We certainly share enthusiasm and confidence that Khal and team will be very unlikely to leave us long with only this option. It will not surprise me if they don't have their first pass at an alternative available with the next few days ...

Onward and upward! 🦁🚀
