One of my neighbors does a job in a company. He is in a good position in that company and doing very well. He gets a good amount of salary every month. But at the end of the money, he hardly has any money.

It would be surprising for many of you because what he gets as a salary, he can easily live comfortably and save money or invest his money. But what happens, that is not something you expect.

To manage your money better, you have to understand your financial situation first. You know how much you earn in a month, but do you know how much you spend and where you spend your money? When you keep a record or track down your income and expenses like rent, utility, debt payments, and so on, you get a clear picture.

The thing is, you cannot move forward unless you know where you are now. You will find different things that are not necessary, but you spend a lot of money on them. On the other hand, you need to buy something that is really important, but you are not able to buy that due to the lack of funds.

When you are fully aware of where you spend your money and how important that is to you, you can do a lot of things to change that and it will help you manage your money better. You can cut down those expenses that are not that necessary and spend that money on them that are really important.

Save money and establish an emergency fund.jpg

You should set your priorities and financial goals. Then you can move on and do things based on your priorities. You can make a budget and stick to it. It will help you save money. You can establish an emergency fund from that.

You have no idea what will happen in the future. What if you lose your job, have an accident, or get sick? Your emergency fund can save the day. So you can easily realize how important it is to have an emergency fund.

If you want to go on a vacation, you need to have the fund for that. What you do with your money depends on your priorities. And in order to do any of this, the first step is to understand your financial situation.

So what do you think? Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. That's it for now. See you around!
