What to HODL for long term?

avatar

Over the last couple of months the crypto market has been steadily growing! Not only growing but the adoption is also happening in mass. Which is supremely a positive effect on the market. Cashes flowing in and the market is responding according to that.

Keeping all these aside, one of the most asked question which reminds me is, which coins should we HODL for long term? Yes, believe me this year is not the end of bull run, there are many more to come. Consider this as a showdown for those particular moments. I have few coins in my portfolio which I am thinking to keep for long term. I have my reasons behind them.

HIVE

Not only me but there are countless people who will probably agree with me about the fact, how HIVE is still undervalued. There will be a time when all of us (early adopters of HIVE) will keep this particular moments as memories. Many more things are going to arrive in HIVE blockchain. Hence a surge of price is going to happen soon. Till then HODL folks.

Cardano (ADA)

Now, not only me but in the past few days, Ada has been getting a lot of exposure. Which made it reach the 3rd position many times in CMC, in terms of market cap. Currently residing at 4th position just after BNB. The recent surge is price was probably the reason of the hardfork MARY.

As this hard fork will permit crypto users to create tokens that can run on the same blockchain as Cardano’s native token, ADA.

  • Coinbase Pro Adds Support for Cardano’s ADA

This addition was also a reason for which ADA saw a surge is price reaching the ATH for this month. More precisely, I am going to hodl this coin for long term and if my itchy habit does not comes back this could be the gem for the coming years for myself.

WAX (WAXP)

It will be very difficult to find a person who has not heard about NFT's. It is probably this years trend of the year. Wax blockchain has been growing a long time back. But since the hype of NFT started, it has shown a rapid growth to its coin (price) hence the attraction towards its chain has been growing rapidly. There are many projects which are being adopted on wax blockchain. Since NFT is the next big thing right now it could be the next gem to hodl into.

One of our most used Dapps has adopted the wax blockchain. I am talking about splinterlands and so far it has been a nice partnership. Which is why I am kind of positive about holding some WAX into my wallet, just in case!

CUB

Yeah, the next FOMO is here. Honestly, I feel real bad to be left out on LEO. Not collecting enough LEO was a mistake for myself. Which is why I do not want to get missed out on this new edition. Which is why, I have been farming CUB from the very first day. But I should have gone little more deep from the very beginning ;) I am already missing the ROI lol. But the fact is, Khal always comes up with something amazing and it affects the project in a positive way. So this is a must in my wallet ;)

Few more coins which are probably a must are shared below. For the fact, I am saying there might not be enough time to get into some of the coins below, as they will be already up above the sky and away of many small investors. So better get some while you can ;)

  • BTC, ETH, BNB, DOT, ENJ ;)

Are you holding any of the coins above? Or do you have any suggestions to get into? do share it below!

Best regards
Rehan

I think it's important to diversify into things that have value held in hand, such as gold and silver bullion. Some collectibles will also do well over the coming months and years (as lockdowns continue and people work from home more).
I do have a tiny bit of ADA, which I bought when it was at the bottom, just for a test. I didn't get enough to make a difference, no matter how high it goes! Oh well. Also, the wallet no longer supports Windows 7 users, so I'm locked out of my funds anyway.
I have a bit of BTC on steem-engine. I haven't tried withdrawing it to a private wallet. Aside from the 1% fee, is it safe and reliable? I assume if it wasn't, I would have heard about that by now.
I do have a little bit of LEO. When I got my CUB, I bought a little more when it crashed, then sold a few days ago when it bounced. Now I've got none and that's good because I don't really understand it.

such as gold and silver bullion

If everything goes as planned, I might stack some of them as well.

so I'm locked out of my funds anyway.

Damn, I know exactly how you feel. I had a similar feeling with my IOST wallet. I even forgot with which id I opened my account there. Long story short I do not have access to that account hence free moneeeeee gone ;)

Tbh at first try the BSC network might seem a little trouble but its worth it.
