Why I Personally Prefer Cryptocurrencies over Scummy Banks

There are many people who are still in the traditional mindset of working hard, putting your money in the bank and collecting your interest. I'm not one of those people. As a matter of fact I say screw the banks. Especially the local ones, in the country I live with all of its natural beauties, but shitty financial situation. over the past years, banks have been trying to screw me over many times as a client. Not me personally, everyone. To be exact everyone trying to save their funds in the less inflationary currency, the USD. Our local currency has been depreciating in value faster than you can say "corruption".

To combat this era of inflation banks have been forcing rules on us USD holders, without any choice for the client. Most rules weren't even of the take it or leave it variety. It was just "take it", because you literally can't take your money out without some kind of special permission. At first they started with introducing absurd monthly fees for "service". Then withdrawal fees followed soon after. Eventually we also had a withdrawal limit of $100 a week. In a society that is not yet fully cashless, this is a BIG problem. That means that all the people who tried to escape inflation by exchanging to foreign currency have their own money being held captive by banks. The same money that is becoming less due to fees that outweigh interest, but you can't withdraw all of it.

What I hate the most about this is the vague reasoning given by banks. I haven't heard a single thing that makes actual sense or is transparent enough to be acceptable. Banks have shown their true colors more than ever before here, meaning that they give zero fucks about the "customer", and only care about their bottom line.

This is why I would rather risk some money in cryptocurrency, even if it's volatile, everything is public, and there are no centralized glorified scummy middlemen deciding to change the rules whenever its convenient for them. The rules are clear as day in the blockchain. If it was possible to pay for most things in crypto or not as hard to move foreign currency back to my country after moving it out to buy crypto, I would probably have more of my funds in Bitcoin and or Ethereum, but alas, I still need to leave some on the banks, to survive here.

For now that is.

Why do you hate your bank?

hahahhahahhaahh

There is a lot of truth in all that you have said

bank do not care about us but their bottomless

the fact that they keep coming up with rules over our financial intelligence is maddening

I am sure they understand why we are not so interested in saving money in ur local currency because the value is not worth it

so they decided to make it difficult to access our funds since it is in the USD currency

Well, if not that we need some cash every now and then for the physical transactions because we are not totally cashless, then all of us who understand the decentralized economy would have left our money in crypto

all our money

The real reason in my country that they are limiting foreign currency is because of corrupt governments that have forced banks to loan them the currency, and haven't paid it back. Which means the banks can't pay out everyone in cash at the same time, because they don't have the actual bills.

What country are you from?

Banks are the cancer of modern society and I see the only purpose that they have is to enslave people... To rule over others and OWN people...
Why do I have my bank?
Hmmm... For many reasons... One of them is that they are taking too high monthly fees for nothing, giving ZERO interests on my money, ask me for 99 photocopies every year (most of the times the SAME as before), etc...

That part I never really got. Some documents aren't even necessary to be refreshed every year. I really hope somewhere in the future, purely living with crypto and paying with just that will be possible. One can only hope.

@rarej The Powers That Be PTB and banks have a long history of corruption, have you read, "The Creature From Jekyl Island?" What is laughable is the argument that crypto is created from, "nothing". And, Mr. Banker, your point would be? ROFL.............. However, the king thinks that with a decentralized blockchain the power transfers to the people vs. a centralized network (banks) where the PTB have enslaved the masses for generations upon this planet. Have a blessed evening and enjoy some

I don't have much time to read whole books nowadays, but I did find a youtube video. Might look for an audiobook version as well, because it does seem captivating. Any means of finance is given value by people. From gold to fiat to crypto. It's all created by people and supply, demand and a general consensus decides that that thing has value.
Cheers!
