Opportunity can hide around Any Corner || How I got into Crypto by playing a Mobile Game

Opportunity. Something that gives us a chance to achieve or gain something. Usually it's available for a limited amount of time. And opportunity doesn't always come to you on the path society tells you take. It can arise from the most unexpected of places.

This is exactly how I came across cryptocurrency. Through a path with quite some twists and turns, and one nice surprise, my trading and investing journey started. It all started with a popular mobile game called Pokémon Go. Yes, you read that right. The hype was real when that game first came out in 2017. And I was all up it in, a fanatic, to say the least. And around that time I started applying for full time jobs here, there and everywhere. After having worked part-time in IT for a while at this not-so-great place, I was ready to step it up a notch.

While walking around and catching digital critters I made a lot of new friends. The fact that I was looking for a job came up with one of those friends in conversation, and I got offered an opportunity to be trained as a software developer, something that was at the top of my list of things I wanted to do. At my new workplace they had an ETH miner, which peaked my interest. I started researching, earning from faucets, trading, and the rest is clear as day history with blue skies. :)
Not to mention that it was also the jumpstart to my so far successful career as a software developer.

Opportunity can hide in the most unexpected corner. So don't overthink everything. If your gut feeling tells you to do something look into it. And if your fanatic about something like a Pokémon game, live that life. Invest in that interesting crypto project. Write down that thought you had in a blog on Hive. Just do it! Who knows, your life might change forever, as mine did.

I remember when the public spaces had lots of people gathering with their eyes glued to their phones. 😂 Pokémon go.

It’s great being able to have a career doing the things you like.
