#PixiePost #PixRants #CreatingWithPurpose

Today has been quite an exciting one - a flurry of activity & whispers about a certain payment processor making an announcement. It was all over Twitter & mainstream media….some people were shocked, some weren’t, some indifferent….blah, blah…

As I tried to shut out the outside noise & distractions, I went about my curating & content creation, noticing a pattern that has been developing lately…

And I finally decided to say something about it...so the PixRants series was born. Now, I don’t promise to have a rant all the time, but it will be there when I feel the need to express myself about some more difficult topics (or ones people are avoiding)...

While this is not TOO hard core, I will put a disclaimer that this is just my opinion. You do not have to agree with it, but here we have the Freedom to express ourselves so why not?

Feel free to engage & comment below...let’s start a conversation...so don’t miss this video! ;)

LOL I'm the king of the PayPal fan club!!!! Honest, they treated me so well :)

Thanks for sharing my story Jenn, appreciate it....I hope people never have to go through what my family and I did...Just awful.

But hey, if they get more people looking at crypto...Whatevs....I'm just never gonna be a fan lol For obvious reasons.

Ha ha yes I know you are. BUT as I said in the video, even though it was a bad experience, it brought you to HIVE and the wonderful world of crypto. So, sometimes things happen for a reason as we grow & learn from the hard lessons life teaches us.

I, for one, am glad I got "stuck" and ended up on the blockchain... :)

Oh, I hear you there... Reading/watching stuff every day on CTPTalk is getting you to see the bigger picture... There are days when there is a lot of great content (as of today for example), but then it comes to 4-5 days that I can barely find 2-3 posts that are worthy...

And I don't mean that they are "well-written", like super-quality grammar and style... I mean on ordinary stuff that has some value... The value doesn't have to be to "teach" me something new, it can be valuable in a different ways... It can be some creative stuff, or some humorous thing, or a different point of view, etc...

I want to say that EVERYONE can do it... and it's not an excuse when someone says that he/she can't... It just takes a couple of minutes to get some topic, and share something valuable with others...

Creating posts with value is CARING about others... You care about others and that's why you share value with others... If you don't care, you share shit... lol... sorry for the language, but it's like that...

Thanks for pointing out this important topic and I hope that more people will get this message...

Preach!! Exactly my whole point....I do KNOW everyone can do it & have faith that they can, but it's up to them to apply themselves. Honestly, some are afraid of stepping out of their box (or changing the comfort of the story they tell themselves), but without it, there will be no growth or opportunities later on in life...

It is time to DO the work. There is no way around it. But with it comes so many rewards...in many forms. And you're right - it doesn't have to be Pulitzer Prize winning posts - just value. Tell a story, be creative, be funny, share knowledge or a talent..

Just do it! hahah Another mini rant....anyways, thank you for watching & I truly appreciate your support. Thank you for the TIA highlight too :) 💚

I really enjoyed this video message, thank you!

Regarding PayPal...when I started making my first attempts to become active on the internet, Paypal popped up in my face around every second "corner" so to speak...lol! Thank goodness I never really got involved with anything major involving Paypal. Like you, I cannot say anything negative from personal experience (I do have a small account with them), but it is horrifying to listen to the experiences that people have had with them. Yes, it may be positive for crypto, but I will also rather steer clear...

I love how you address the issue of "creating with purpose". All credit to you for the way you handled the topic! This was a message we all needed to hear. I think maybe part of the problem is being overwhelmed by all the different messages we get on the internet.

One day you will read on the internet and everybody would tell you to find your passion and create content around your passion. The next day you read all about how you should write for your audience. Give the people what THEY want. "Focus on one topic and people will start seeing you as an expert", they say.

I think if you allow yourself the freedom to speak about something important to you, it will not be on the same topic every single time. But, in time it will become very clear what you are passionate about.

The point that you have hit on is so important though... other people want to hear about it. There are other people who share that passion. What is necessary is that it is important to you. Then it comes naturally...like having a conversation. When you are constantly just thinking about what other people want to hear...or think that you HAVE to write something, it becomes a problem.

Wow! Talk about ranting... That's enough from me now! Thanks again for an awesome video message! I truly enjoyed it!

He he he he... I thoroughly enjoyed your "rant". And I agree 100%. It is a tricky balance between creating content with what your audience is interested in & also having content you believe in.

I used to have that FOMO type of mentality somewhat. I was worried about the numbers & whether my videos would "rank". Then, I noticed I started feeling "stuck" - that stagnant energy wouldn't leave. I had trouble getting motivated & didn't know what to create. Even though I tried not to have that show up in my work, I know I felt it. Finally, one day, I just realized I need to follow MY why & what brings me joy. There is ALWAYS an audience for whatever content you provide to the world. It just takes time to build the following but as we build it, they come (as I said in the video lol).

Thank you so much for your awesome comment & kind words. It really brightened my day. I look forward to engaging with you again soon. Have an amazing weekend & keep up YOUR great work as well :)🧡

"forcing yourself to post" is the worst strategy.

If you do not add value, may be you get upvotes but not a "brand value" that can really matter in long run.

Oh yes for sure! And I am sure many of us have done this at least once. It's easy to get caught up in the FOMO mentality & try to keep up with the "others". But it really doesn't serve anyone & I would rather skip a day or two than provide a crappy post. Value is important, personally speaking. :)

Thank you for watching! I appreciate your support :)🧡
