Either way, progress happens at its own pace. Often times, if feels like we are walking through quicksand. However, if you consider now long it takes people to get a University degree, something that often qualifies them to tend bar, it is not so long. Put in the same time and effort on Hive as most put towards getting a degree and I believe the odds are that one will have life changing money.

THAT is a profound perspective. And people will say, "but a degree is guaranteed whereas Hive success is not guaranteed," but having that degree does not guarantee you a good-paying job, either - as you said, it "often qualifies them to tend bar." And to get that degree, you are often going deep into debt to boot!

Actually I will say that if someone puts in 4-5 years on Hive, being active and engaging on a daily basis, then success is guaranteed. There is no way to operate like that and not get upvotes over time.

We both know, being on here a while, those that remained in spite of all the noise, have had accounts grow (or were able to take money out for bills). Either way, anyone who is active has succeeded.
